Go to the site Bouchart just linked. type your email address in lowercase letters into that first text field. Calculate it as MD5 and cut out the code it generates. Now go to the table. At the top click "show options". Filter by MD5, and paste your code into the text box in the far right. Then click apply. If anything comes up, uh oh spaghettios.

I couldn't remember if I ever provided my email, but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. That's what I say.

Looks like I'm in the clear. I already changed my passwords, but it's a load off my mind. I'm very paranoid about things like this. Pisses me off how I take all these extra precautions to avoid any form of identity theft whatsoever and I still got put at risk because a third party fucked up.

So who else loves this brutally hard platformer? I gotta tell you, that pet Meat Boy is perhaps the only Xbox avatar item I ever felt obliged to show off to my friends just for the sheer amount of effort it took me to get it (I didn't even know I would get it at the time). I'm taking a hiatus from it for a bit, as this game turns my fingers into old person fingers after just a few minutes, but before too long I plan on going back to tackle the Dark World.

Can we have all caps posts in the angry dome? Sometimes lowercase just doesn't suffice.

Well this was a huge pain in the ass. I changed the password for kotaku and every other site I can think of that used it. Fortunately I'm smart enough not to use that password for anything important like my bank account or credit card.
