Made the mistake of starting a new game of Civ V last night. So yeah, that's probably all I'm going to be able to play for the next week. That game is worse than crack. It's not a time sink, it's a freaking black hole. 1 am: "Sweet, entered the Medival Era. I'll just build a few swordsmen and go to bed." 6 am: "Alright, that should be plenty... 6 AM?! What the hell happened?!"

Always loved the courtroom speech scene from Boondock Saints.

Man, I so want to go on vacation to Pripyat! But Chernobyl will have to do, I guess...

Actually shopped around for a new gaming mouse last month. I was using a crappy Dell one and the scrolling wheel stopped clicking, so I had to replace it. Had my sight set on the Logitech MX518 for a while (the one Cyber Rat posted), but ultimately I went with a Razer DeathAdder and I'm really glad I did.

I really need to grab Diabolical Box Mysterious Village was the first game I bought for my DS and I freaking loved it. Not so big on the replay value, though Also LOL. I still like Penny-Arcade, but I must admit they haven't had a good one like that in a while That one's just perfect.

So far I've only grabbed some of the very cheap titles in the current sale. AaaAAaaaA, Chime and Shatter Keeping most of my funds for the holiday sale in hopes of picking up some big titles I missed over the year. The biggest items on my shopping list would be: -Just Cause 2 -Fallout 3 GOTY (finished the original game 2 years ago but havent played any of the DLC yet) -Splinter Cell Conviction -Borderlands DLC I grabbed such an insane amount of stuff last year that this year can't possibly compare.

Hence my saying that they are sometimes "okay". By that I mean they'll have the occasional article/review that won't be completely retarded. It's hardly a site I visit daily.

Can't believe I forgot to give Heavy Rain an honorable mention. Loved that game.

Not to mention N4G only approves, promotes, and propagates the "FIRST" sub-meme which is really annoying. It's quite a pain for small websites to get consistent approval yet they claim they're impartial as to what gets promoted. Yeah. But at least shit usually gets posted quickly. And you can occasionally find some rather good smaller blogs. For all the latest gaming releases huh? I assume you meant Destructoid Woops! Yeah, Destructoid. lol

After Kotaku started sucking, I started using N4G.com And nowadays whenever Kotaku finally does post something news worthy, I've already read about it somewhere else. Of course N4G has the downside of forcing you to filter through all the bullshit that constantly gets submitted and (for some reason that is beyond me) approved. Other than that, Joystiq is pretty cool. DemonoidDestructoid is okay... sometimes.... And I still occasionally visit IGN, though I don't have a valid reason for that one.

Mass Effect 2 is GOTY for me, but I haven't had the chance to play RDR yet. God of War III, Splinter Cell Conviction, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Rock Band 3 were all stand-out titles worth mentioning, but none of them are GOTY material to me.

Well I would imagine that Shepard's actions in the first two game are, at least partially, to blame for the Reapers bringing the fight to Earth. But yeah, Earth feels pretty insignificant when you look at the bigger picture of the Mass Effect universe/story.

Anything new made by thatgamecompany is of interest to me. This is no different. Can't wait to find out more about it.

I'm excited for this but ironically I've never finished any TES game before. Played Oblivion for something like 20 hours when I first got my PS3, but I barely touched the main story. Own both Oblivion and Morrowind on Steam, though. So they're on the backlog.

Black Ops MP (on PC) and Civ V are my two main games right now. Just got Darksiders on PS3 as well, but I'm waiting a bit before starting it.
