Welp, I'm all caught up on JoJo. Definitely should've waited until Diamond was done airing before starting it, ugh! After binging on Stardust and most of Diamond, it's going to be rough having to wait an entire week for each of the remaining six episodes... I also already watched Dragon Ball Super 21 to 27 as soon as they came out last night, so I'm done with the Resurrection F arc. Gonna wait until the next batch before starting the next one, I think. Otherwise it'll be annoying having to wait just 3 episodes into it. So, that means I get to start something new! I'm thinking either Mob Psycho 100 or the new Berserk. Do you guys have any other recommendations? Preferably stuff that's on Crunchyroll. I have a bunch of stuff in my queue but most of it I can't even remember why it's there lol. Like, the summary for Re:Zero doesn't sound all that interesting but I know I didn't add it randomly.

It's October, let's play some spooky games!

Ha, looks like I assumed correctly on that one. Both Amnesia games now have achievements lists. Doesn't look like they're active yet but yeah, pretty glad I ended up holding off on playing them. -
Ha, that's pretty neat. Also, turns out it wasn't just that one playlist I posted. The entire channel is pretty damn awesome. There's a pretty massive playlist of OPs and EDs other than JoJo. If you love listening to those and have a soft spot for everything 8-bit like me, it's a freaking gold mine.

I've found what's possibly the greatest YouTube playlist ever conceived. I mean, just listen! I could seriously listen to these all day.

Hahaha yeah, he actually acts like the high school kid he is. That's something I never really felt from Jotaro. Like, he might as well have been in his 20s in Stardust, wouldn't have made a lick of difference.
-
Damn, I think I might have been premature in comparing Diamond is Unbreakable unfavorably to Stardust Crusaders.

Really need to play the DDS games as well. IIRC, I own them both digitally on PS3 but my plate is kinda full of JRPGs already at the moment. Really tempted to grab physical copies just for the hell of it, though. Those two and Nocturne would go nicely on the shelf with my copies of P3 and P4. ------------------------------ Anyway, now that I finally watched the Battle of Gods arc of Dragon Ball Super, I finally went back and finished the story mode of Dragon Ball Xenoverse. I've already talked about the game at length when I started playing it in the summer, so I'll just say that the best DBZ game ever is in there somewhere. The problem is, for some fucking reason, they decided to bury it under random loot drops, unnecessary RPG mechanics and tons of pretty much mandatory grinding. It's a shame because the core mechanics are pretty damn fun despite their simplicity. I definitely enjoyed my time with it and I'll probably keep playing it on and off and go for 100% achievements completion eventually. The amount of mindless content you need to go through actually makes it a pretty good podcast game. I'm gonna wait for a price drop on the sequel, though. It sounds like it's basically the same game with only marginal improvements. I'll want more eventually but I've still got plenty left with this one for the time being.

Vol. 9 and Vol. 10, you know the drill. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLFMK8jmQ3s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3yVqnWKYiI Holy shit, Vol 9 is exactly what I needed to see to get hyped! Looks like this was only building up to a demo update, though. So, that's disappointing. I might be more inclined to care if they released the demo on Steam... Apparently, they confirmed the demo is coming to other platforms. Totally missed that bit of news.

Alright, that's all I really wanted to know. Thanks. edit: So, I'm assuming that second half would be about Also, I just realized how good of an OP Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town actually was. It just changed to a new one and now I miss it enough that I'm actually listening to it on YouTube. It's not as hype as Stand Proud but it really gets you in that JoJo mood.

So, I've watched about half the episodes of Diamond that are on Crunchyroll and I'm curious how you guys feel about it compared to previous parts. It's really good but I don't think it's anywhere near as great as Stardust Crusaders was. I'm not even sure why, to be honest. It's definitely the second best after Stardust and I like the structure of it more but I dunno, I'm not enjoying it anywhere near the same level. And man, Also, I have another more general question about future parts.
-
Alright, thanks.
-
Oh, well I guess I'll just forget the games exist then lol. But damn it, now I'm super intrigued! So, hypothetically, if once I'm done with Diamond I decide I don't want to wait for the next season and want to start reading the manga. I'm assuming fan translations are the only option at this point? Can't seem to find anything past Stardust Crusaders on Amazon, at least.
-
I probably wasn't going to but thanks. I have to admit I was a little bit curious with such a ridiculous name lol. And, since we're on the topic of future parts, I was wondering about something. There's one game on PS3 and one on PS4, right? Would playing them spoil anything major? And if so, up to which part would I need to be to safely play them?
-
I said that because of the Limp Bizkit part. I wouldn't call it censorship, though. It's just the nature of localization. Sometimes you have to change something because a direct translation wouldn't make sense or there just isn't one. Sometimes it's for obvious legal reasons.
-
Lol, that's just wrong on so many levels. Is that Araki dude on drugs or something?
-
Ah ok. But still, would just "Crazy Diamond" on its own really have been an issue? Kinda seems like overkill. Starting to see a pattern in the way Stands are named, though. Guess I should just get used to it lol.
-
Okay, what's the deal with Crunchyroll constantly changing names in JoJo for no damn reason? It's getting kinda jarring when you can clearly hear them using english words but the subs say something else entirely. Like, I get it when it's probably legally iffy with blatantly borrowed stuff like a guy named Vanilla Ice and a Stand that I'm pretty sure was called Red Hot Chili Peppers (lol). But why is Josuke's Stand Shining Diamond in the subs when he clearly says Crazy Diamond? As far as I'm aware, it's not a reference to anything? Then the ep I'm currently watching had this, which is just ridiculous. I mean, it's right there on the fucking screen!

More Falcom on Steam is always welcome. Heard very good things about this one, so I've been really looking forward to its release. Let's hope it doesn't disappoint.

Man, it's kinda hard to really get into Dragon Ball Super after Stardust Crusaders. I mean, it's Dragon Ball so I'm enjoying it but it feels like it's moving at a snail's pace. Took 4 fucking episodes before Beerus got anywhere near Earth. This is definitely a show to binge watch, I can't imagine watching that shit week to week without losing your mind over the lack of progress. Like, did I really need an entire episode about fucking Emperor Pilaf? No! No, I did not! edit: Well, at least it picked up pretty quickly after that. Ended up burning through the remaining episodes in a single sitting. Hopefully now the fight will live up to all that build up. Just gotta wait until saturday for the next 10 eps.

Didn't feel like paying an extra 5 bucks to reach the tier that included it on Humble but the Day of the Devs 2016 bundle is also available on Steam and I'm not sure if it's because of a pricing error or just that feature where bundles can be discounted extra depending on what you already own but for just this one the bundle only cost me 1.19$. At that price, I mean, I'm not gonna say no. That's basically guaranteed to be the lowest price ever for the game.
-
Agreed on most points. Hahahaha yeah, that was pretty good. If anything, Stardust Crusaders made me like Joseph more than Battle Tendency ever did. Also, I couldn't help myself and watched the first two episodes of Diamond is Unbreakable. So, yeah, that pretty much answers my initial question. I mean, I can already tell. That shit is Persona 4. Even the OP seems to be acknowledging it lol.
-
Only the first one has a 9 in the title but both feature something called "The Nonary Game", so it's not like it's completely irrelevant or anything. It's just kind of a shit name for the product, imho. The games' actual titles sound much better to me.
-
Despite the weird name, that's 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors and Virtue's Last Reward (Zero Escape Vol. 1 and 2) finally confirmed for Steam release, coming in 2017. Looks like it'll be one app for both games like FFX/X-2, which is a little annoying but whatever.
