Just like Batman patrolling Gotham looking for crime, Ethan patrols message boards looking for people saying positive things about Tearaway. The difference is Batman a hero and Ethan is the villain in this case.

My man! I haven't played the PS4 version, but the Vita version was one of the best games in the past few years.

My copy of Super Mario Maker just showed up. Painfully limited for the first day, but you can change your clock and move forward a day after playing every 5ish minutes.

There is already a patch out to remove that limitation. With the patch it unlocks stuff every 15 minutes instead of daily. How are you liking it apart from that?

My Wii U still hasn't downloaded that patch and I don't know of a way to force it to check,.. hmm...
I like it, it's pretty much what I expected. I worry that Nintendo showed off a little too much of the game before hand, but maybe there's some surprises or items/enemies/whatever not seen in trailers/previews.
I also remembered what LittleBigPlanet taught me... I suck at making levels. This seems a little more straight forward though, so hopefully I can muster up som...

Nice, so I guess we'll be getting new seasons every spring and autumn. Daredevil season 2 in Spring 2016 and Luke Cage or Iron Fist Autumn 2016!

I can't believe people are calling this a bad game. I've spent a lot of time in it, doing a ton of side-ops and I'm on mission 22 or 23..?? I just rescued White Mamba who I have a sneaking suspicion might be Liquid Snake. From a story point of view, it's a pretty accessible game. I didn't play Peace Walker and haven't really been confused about anything in this game. So far, I'd wager to say you probably don't even need to play MGS3, just Ground Zeroes. I know for hardcore fans the lack of story is probably a bad thing but for the vast majority of people this is a good thing, a VERY good thing. From a gameplay perspective, this is simply the best Metal Gear has ever been. It takes a lot of cues out of open world games like Far Cry and Assassin's Creed but does it significantly better in every way. I haven't had to redo any missions, and there's a fair amount of variety to the side-ops, I honestly haven't felt any moment of the game has been grindy. Maybe if you want Mother Base to be maxed out constantly but I haven't found that's necessary to succeed in the game. So basically... GAME OF THE YEAR!! Just my two cents. EDIT: Goh? Trolling people? Come on now FLD, let's not say things we'll regret.

How many missions did it take you to roll credits?? And do you know what it takes to get the extra stuff? Hopefully not S ranking everything or completing every mission objective, that would get tiresome.

I feel the same. The gameplay is pure gold so no matter what, I think I'll be coming back to TPP and even GZ for a long while.

Pretty sure if you have a working knowledge of Moby Dick, the game's plot is half spoiled. Granted I don't know everything and won't be back home until Tuesday.

Well, it's possible, I won't read a book that doesn't feature a boy wizard going to witchcraft and wizardry school. But this spoiler is straight out of Kojima's mind, I don't think it's something from Moby Dick.

Episode 5 came out in July. Episode 6 will be the finale, and by this rate should be out in a few weeks, they're taking about 2 months per episode.

This is weird. I figured the game had to be pretty bad, which would explain why the game has 0 hype and they never bothered to move it out of MGSV. Like, even releasing next week would have made a huge difference for this game (or better yet, released it when the movie was in theatres.....).

Same here. I started playing around 2:30pm yesterday, breaked for dinner and dog walking, but otherwise played straight through till 11:30pm. This game is the real deal, the critics were right. From a gameplay perspective this is the best Metal Gear has ever been. Outside of the opening hour or two the story seems to be sparse but that's fine, I just want to keep infiltrating bases and doing side-OPs. So basically: GOTY.

Spent a portion of today playing METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES again, to prepare for Tuesday and OH MY GOD. I forgot how well this game played. HYPE LEVEL: MAX!

Uhm, you guys are missing the obvious thing, right when this trailer hit, Instagram 7.5 was released which allowed support for landscape and portrait pictures and video. Showing a 15 second minitrailer, in the new landscape format, for the highest profile movie of the year was clearly part of a deal, which for Instagram would have been a great way to show off the new format. I would imagine Instagram paid for it, but there could have been other workings we're not aware of.... who knows maybe R2D2 will post an Instagram of a Hoth sunset in The Force Awakens.

Physical media is preferable on consoles, anyway. Steam is likely to be around for the foreseeable future but my PS3 PSN purchases are already obsolete and useless.
Even when I get around to buying a PS4 I don't see myself buying a console game digitally ever again unless it's either dirt cheap or exclusive and digital-only.
