There is such thing as a carpet shortage? http://www.autoblog.com/2011/09/19/carpet-shortage-forcing-automakers-to-cut-output/

Alright! Time for cars with hardwood floors...

I was thinking something along the lines of glass tiles. The underglow would shine right though and illuminate the whole vehicle.

Yeah, more women have taken to shaving or waxing, even laser surgery.

I have PCtools, with an immunet which runs with PCtools, they are coming up clean... I'll try avira tahnks!

just deleted all the youtube cookies and that seemed to work

I have no issue with loading screens supporting ad space, but don't expect me to pay full price for you to advertise to me.

"After all, games without ads really shouldn't even be $60" very true, and its a problem that is going to surface soon. But the thing is, at the moment games without ads cost $60 and games with ads cost $60, but games with ads are making extra money from ads as well as the consumer.
I don't want to be mistaken as a disgruntled player, but this is something that I just think needs to be examined. Granted ad-less games tend to cost less to make than ad...

supported games, but as a consumer I am going to pay $60 for a game with ads, or a game without ads.

I hope you're right, Atomsk88, but that's also what they said about buying the kind of things you used to unlock as DLC. The practice sure failed to kill Youtube, even when viable alternatives are not hard to find. They've even tried it in games like Wipeout HD.
Actually I saw a banner in DE:HR on Reddit and if I'd bought the game and then these banners showed up later, that would suck. I'd actually be pretty mad about it since Steam would just update it without...

The new 3ds circle pad is... interesting. The extra triggers make me wonder about the PSV, which doesn't have triggers...

@Rocky, the only reason I think about the PSV in the sense of triggers, is yes the touchpad on the back works, but I would like some feedback from a button/trigger. Either way, i'm not buying a 3DS and will be buying a Vita
-
That's true. Definitely goes right back to the whole "touchpad input not as tactile as a button" thing. At the same time, a touchpad on the back is a fine replacement for two extra triggers, IMO.
-
Its good for a portable, its just I can't help but think about the penis argument with these two systems now "I have a touch screen" "I have TWO touch inputs" "I have 3D" "I have TWO analogue sticks" "We have extra buttons"

Never been into the Warhammer universe, but I really like the idea and setting of it. What books are good to help me start into the series (either 40k or just Warhammer)
-
-
I disagree with Enervation about this. I'd say the MUST-START-WITH book is definitely the Space Wolves Omnibus. It involves a character being slowly introduced into the universe and growing used to it, which sort of parallels the newcomer's road. Not on the level of Dan Abnett's writing, prose-wise, but definitely the best entry point into the universe, hands down.

I'd say the Gaunt's Ghosts series is a nice starter.

Well, this whole 3DS poor sales, price drop and second analogue nub thing with the poor Wii U announcement makes it seem like Nintendo is having a bad year. They'll do fine, but its just fumble after fumble.

I love dungeon crawlers! and it seems like there is a slight resurgence with Dungeon Hunter, Crimson Alliance and Torchlight (1 and the future 2 with MP). Not to mention Dungeon Seige and Diablo 3! Oh happy day!

Just dropped my one and only wed. class, found out I don't need it to graduate this semester! Woohoo FREE WEDNESSDAYS

went to my parents storage unit, and got my foot stuck in the elevator door, which closed on me. After struggling to get it out, I complained to a lady who said there was nothing they could do about the door closing with people in the way (which is BS) then gave me attitude when i told her that my foot was in a lot of pain because of the door. I, of course, got very angry and told her that I hope the door is fixed next time I come back and told the lady who was about to rent a storage unit th...

oh damn, didn't notice it was cut off. I told her that she should think twice before renting for her own safety. I was then told to leave.

...I prefered Fuckikoma's version
but yeah fucking hell could have got seriously hurt there -
Ya, I'm pretty sure Fuckikoma's version is the true ending of that story, whereas Mad's was the alternate ending.

I already ripped on this guy, leaving a large paragraph of rambled irritated fueled rant, but seriously you all should just read the last paragraph of his post. Its a typical gamestop brainwash statement. It really put me over the edge where I felt like I should say something. http://kotaku.com/5834002/gamestop-policy-open-your-games-steal-your-codes-sell-game-like-new?comment=42137469#comments

It is pretty funny about shopping at gamestop for "the experience". Most companies say that when they can't compete and are about to die.

GameStop's desperation would explain why they purchased Kongregate and Impulse...

They understand that used games are going away and they're going to have to change.

I admit it, I like The Sims. Even the new one Sims 3 and I buy all the expansion packs. Such a fun game!

I don't think there's anyone who would say it's a bad game. But yeah the macro-transactions can make you very poor.
-
As Mal and Dean said, there's no shame in liking the Sims, I enjoy it from time to time, but another £20-£30 for a few admittedly cool but not imperative additions and it's an awfully expensive game.
-
It's a bad game.
But I likes it, too.
