The NEW super mario games, brawl, the metroid prime series, dkcreturns, and twilight princess really doesnt fill me with any joy at the possiblity of a new system. Graphically, no nintendo franchises need hyper realistic graphics, so i dont care about that. i just dont see the point when third parties didnt want to support the wii and the first party stuff was weak. Their shit is so fucking recycled and its infuriating that no one sees it. They have such an amazing legacy that theyve thrown away, and not even by making bad games, but by making them mediocre. I hold nintendo on a pedestal of innovation. The wii was great, the games in their franchises were not. Unless every franchise gets some sort of super creative mindblowing smgalaxy treatment, im just going to stick with their handhelds this coming gen.

I love law and order, but its a crime drama, not a detective story. America as a whole doesnt care much for eccentricity or whimsy. We wanna see people shooting other people. Thats what makes crime interesting. Taking down the bad guys, not finding them first. We skip that part. Its boring.

Us people in the US dont have detective shows. Just crime dramas. Were also not interested in detectives. Its not something kids wanna be or ladies wanna fuck. Its just not cool her Only reason we saw sherlock holmes was because robert downey jr was in it. He makes anything as faggy as a detective awesome.

People who ask for remakes, sequels or HD versions of game franchises that pretty much bombed the first time they came out and would make the company very little money. Megaman Legends 3 I understand(even if I was never a fan of the series), but Capcom will NOT make an HD remake of Tron Bonne. They might as well throw money down the toilet while theyre at it.

I bought Enslaved a few weeks ago when it hit 12.99 for the used copy at GS. I also had a 5 dollar coupon from the powerup rewards thing, plus the 10% I get off. It was about 7 or 8 bucks. Its actually a pretty good game. I love Trip for some reason. Reminds me of a girl I used to know, i guess. Since im transferring to another store that is in dire need of cafe staff, ill probably get tons of hours. Ill finally get Killzone 3 and Mass Effect 2. Probably even Move if things go smoothly there.

Ooh, I wonder if they have any of those left at our Borders. It's also closing. They probably don't though. *Edit* - Cars didn't impress me, but it was entertaining enough. I think The Incredibles is the best Pixar movie after Toy Story though. We ran out the day they hit 30 bucks. Ask for the demos they have in the middle of the store, or if they have demos in the back. See if theyll sell them to you. You never know.

So i uhh....got another Kobo eReader...for 2 dollars. Everything was 3 dollars yesterday, everything was 2 dollars today, and everything will be one dollar tomorrow. Thats our last day. Turns out we could buy the demo eReaders we had. We got a few demos, but there were 2 somewhere in the back that they never used. I snatched up one of them and this other employee snatched up the other. She was actually the one who asked if we could buy them and she offered me the other one if they both worked. Its perfectly fine. Nothing wrong with it physically or electronically. Well, except its the older version which doesnt have wireless. Not like it matters, Im not buying books online when I can get them for free from torrent sites. I really dont know what im going to do with it besides keep it as a backup in case i lose or break the other one.

I didnt start playing fps games til the PS3 generation, so I dont know that much about them historically besides Doom. I had Timesplitters 3, but I didnt care for it. Ive tried really hard not to play them for some reason. I dont know why. I just...dont find them that fun....besides the exceptions like Half Life, Team Fortress 2 and Killzone games. So yeah....I have nothing to contribute to this at all. Sorry.

It was 30 bucks, but I had a 10 dollar gift card. I work at Borders, the store is closing this thursday, so everything is on sale and has been going down steadily. The price had been going down every few weeks, but this past week its been going down almost every day. It went from 139 to 100, then slowly went down until it was 30. So I jumped on the chance. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with it. Its brand new.
