I finished seeing Ghost In The Shell 2.0 on bluray last night. Im not crazy about the new cgi. It's...iffy. its not terrible, but its not very good either. Thank goodness that the bluray contains the original version as well.

An Incomplete Education - Judy Jones & William Wilson 5. Atlas Shrugged - Ayn Rand I only put one "classic" up there. I dont want to fill a list up with shit 95% of people know about and probably were forced to read in school. I also never but the Beatles in any music favorites list. Neither do I use the Godfather for a film favorite, despite loving both.

A lot of genres that were either created or popularized on PC I really dont like. Mostly RTS and MMOs. Im not into time sinkers in general I guess. I like games with endings or at least games that have endings that you want to get to. It's weird to explain. A lot of games, especially on PC have endings, but theyre just tacked on to have them, people dotn really play them to beat them for their story. Except Fallout and the Sims for some reason.

People wont play games on entire consoles now? Eesh. That's sad. I understand not liking a genre, but judging things based on what console theyre on is ridiculous. It's not even subconscious fanboyism, its just straight up fanboyism.

I dont know whats going on, but I went with my top 9. I didnt think too much about it, but I think this is basically it. if there was a ten, it'd be the Revenge Of Shinobi. Super Mario Bros. 3 is perfect. Final Fantasy 8 was my first final fantasy game i ever played. I still love it to this day. Darkstalkers 3 is basically if Street Fighter was personalized for me. It was made for me. Breath Of Fire 3 was the first rpg i ever played. Its such a beautiful game with an amazing, yet very strange soundtrack. Plus, dragons are badass. I dont think SOTN needs any explanation. I love Fear Effect to death. It's an amazing game. It's kind of like RE, but better in every way. DMC3 is the one game i can go back to and just tear shit up over and over and never get bored of it. It also oozes style while having a lot of substance in it's gameplay. I still think this one is better than Bayonetta. Im a sucker for the MGS series and MGS2 is my absolute favorite. This is the game that changed my perception of videogames into something deeper. sounds lame, but it's true. it was so interactive and played so well and looked amazing. the man who made it clearly made it with patience and love. Uncharted 2 is what every modern third person shooter wishes it could be. But they aint.

Finally got my goddamn keyboard. I bought this preowned at GS just so i can use it to export the songs, then im returning it. It's 10 dollars for the Lego RB songs, so I bought one of these. My friend gave me this as a late birthday present.

Im not a huge Weezer fan so I dont put them on a pedestal, but I detest and wonder how they came up with "Beverly Hills". Its one of the worst songs ever written and also has one of the worst sounding guitar solos in history. Im not even a guitar enthusiast, it just hurts my ears.

Fallout: New Vegas is 40 bucks on Gamestop.com. Only online of course. Yeah, its annoying.

I have Sonic's Ultimate Genesis collection and ive never touched the Phantasy Star games. Weird.

New Pokemon games suck either because they changed things i liked or because they didnt change things i disliked.

God Of War is a hack n' slash. It's really not for everyone, but I love them. DMC3 is one of my favorite games ever. I always felt like these games were spiritual successors to the side scrolling brawlers of old(TMNT, X-men, Streets of Rage), but with way more substance. I just prefer 3rd person games in general. The scope of third person games can never be rivaled by anything but turn based rpgs. Thats why I dislike FPS games. Theres only so much you can do with the genre as far as grandiosity.
