I suck at this game.

Muramasa took me about 7 hours for one character, but sword collecting is a big deal and the ending can change depending on what swords you have, I finished with about 30 swords...there are over 100 in the game. I also assume once you finish the game with both characters you unlock another part of the game. But while I didnt finish Guacamelee, I think its the better game. As much as I like 2d hack and slashes, Guacamelee is basically a Metroid/Metroidvania clone and a fantastic one at that.

Muramasa is a pretty hard game on "normal". Im playing on easy and its a lot more fun to me. These kind of games have some real hardcore fans who want a challenge, I aint one of them.

Muramasa Rebirth looks amazing on the Vita. I also downloaded Zero Escape from PS plus.

The only other stealth game Ive really played is metal gear and TLoU is nothing like MG. Bottles and bricks are probably your best friends, theyre more useful than the guns you carry. Honestly, fighting and shooting are absolute LAST resorts. Ideally you should avoid or take everyone down. Another big difference from MGS is that you can actually run away and if you go far away enough, you can hide and start over again. In MGS if youre discovered, theyll find you absolutely anywhere because thats the way the AI works, in TLoU that just isnt how it goes. Also, the bow and arrow are quiet. You can kill clickers or anyone with them without being discovered. Also before you do anything else, max out listen mode. Itll help a lot. Then max out health. Then do whatever you want after that. Another tip is to throw a brick or bottle, wait for the infected to run to it, then throw a molotov cocktail or any other explosive at them. Thats always a good way to clear a room. I spent pretty much all my resources on health packs and molotov cocktails.

Muramasa Rebirth comes out tomorrow, anyone else getting it? I skipped over the Jak Collection because they said it has a few problems. Its still a good port, but its not perfect. Ill wait for a PSN discount.

Yeah. What would be awesome for a short term idea would be a level editor that got constant dlc assets. Sounds evil, but its the only way I could see Nintendo doing it. Just release the base game, then start selling Yoshi or the tanooki suit or Princess Peach separately. The community could probably come out with remakes faster than Nintendo ever could. And then some.

Mario map packs basically. The game would be completely unnecessary if they just released a level editor, but I doubt that will ever happen. They wouldnt be able to make unnecessary sequels.

Apparently the focus testers hated the ending. They wanted a typical happy ending. I'm glad ND stuck to their guns in this. The ending is one of the best parts of the game. Also, the original ending extended to them getting to Tommy's instead of it ending abruptly ending after Ellie says "ok." Another good decision by ND.

Im starting to fucking hate beer. Mostly craft shit. They are getting ridiculous with the labels they put upon them. This past week we had a "summer ale" and a "4 grain breakfast beer" on tap. What the fuck does that even mean? Fuck you.

The part with always gets to me. I will also jump on the bandwagon.

I felt the game ended too soon, but then I checked my stats and saw I had 15 hours put in. It's just about right, especially considering the pace of the game. It's perfect. I guess I just didn't want it to end.

Well, I just finished TLoU. Probably the best game in the last decade. Time to play it again.

FF8 is also my favorite final fantasy. Ill never say its the best one(FF4/FF6 is), but I personally like what it did. Its almost completely sci fi, very little fantasy in it. Its just a very quirky weird game. I loved it. Also, this website is a riot. http://squallsdead.com/

Apparently Jak and Daxter Collection comes out for the Vita this tuesday. I knew it was coming out, but I didnt know it was this soon. If its reasonably priced, Ill probably bite. You can get the PS3 for $10, but Ill easily pay more to have it on my Vita. Though I doubt I have the space for 3 games. I might go cartridge for this one.

I managed to get past Winter and into Spring, stopped there because it was 3 in the morning and I figured I should probably get rest before I had to work. I just made it to spring...holy shit.

I just reached "Fall" in TLoU. Jesus Christ. This game is something else.

I played about 3 hours so far, but this game is pretty great. There is never a dull moment, youre either watching or playing something awesome. Story and gameplay, this one is a fine balance of those 2 things. Its fucking magic.

It wouldnt be the same game if you could complete it without killing anyone, or a handful of people. This isnt Metal Gear, Disohonored or Deus Ex where youre some kind of skilled professional. People are gonna die in this game and thats how it should be.

It really is funnier than it has any right to be. I can't wait til it comes out on bluray. Dem out takes.
