  1. Nariko from Heavenly Sword, Sir Daniel from Medievil, and Evil Cole. God, the game looks good, but its becoming a total sausagefest. Two females. Thats it. I guess now that the leaked list is complete, were going to move on to the fan favorite stuff. The game doesnt release until November and almost no fighting game nowadays comes with only 20 characters. Theyve got a while to go and to be honest, there hasn't been any character that will make people totally cream themselves. They need at least one or two of those. Im sure Lightning will make it in. Ill be surprised if she doesnt. And if Kat made it in Hot Shots Golf, I think that makes it a bit more likely for her to end up in this. They need more females. Id say Lara Croft, but....you know, Nathan Drake and all.... and if we do get her, we'll get the new Lara. I dont care, Itd be cool either way. and I also think Solid Snake/Big Boss is almost a guarantee. Itll be fucking weird if he isnt in here. Like, really fucking weird.
  2. I dont get all this talk about the EU store sucking compared to the US store. The EU store has over 100 PSone games in the store and about a month ago got actual sales on Vita and PSP games. As far as I know, Hot Shots Golf was the only game that got discounted this summer in the US. Thats it.
  3. An open world MGS game...hmmm....

I think mostly I want Solid Snake because he's only been in 2 MGS games(MGS1, MGS4). He has an hour or 2 in MGS2, but I dont count that. Its not really his game. And I also dont count MG1 and MGS2.

I'm not sure whether my favorite is MGS1 or MGS3, but I like MGS2 a lot. It really doesn't deserve the shit it gets.

Yeah, once I got over the Raiden thing, MGS2 is actually a really good game. I played 1 and 2 to completion (as in every secret, every dog tag etc.) 3 and 4 I've only played through the once. I think on balance 1 is really my fave. Playing it again on my Vita as it happens.

  4. Looks so good. Im sure the resolution will take a hit like it did with Uncharted, but it still looks amazing.
  5. Well, you can still do that. You just need 2 cards. Thats the only things that's changed. It wasnt like on the PSP and PS3. It was already a hassle before this whole thing started. I dont know if youve ever played around with a Vita, but it doesnt have an account login like the PS3. Its just not there. Every account change requires a reset of the system. You cant switch between accounts at all and games from one account wont work on the other unless you change them. Its basically like youre switching hard drives on a PS3. Except you do it back and forth...and back and forth. Its not fun. At all.
  6. Maybe you don't understand me or Im not understanding you, but the problem isn't the Vita, the problem is owning more than your own region's account. That's a problem that stems way back before the Vita. I am of firm belief that Sony does not want you to have more than one account and an account outside your region. You should have known that by the time you put in that fake US address or the way your credit card doesn't work in the US store(or does it? Maybe it does). Those are just a few little restrictions that are easily bypassed. This is just the next step. It had to end someday. That's all there is to it. Youre doing something you weren't meant to do. The rules are getting tighter and tighter. Unless the whole region thing falls apart, then its only going to get worse. All they're doing is enforcing a stupid ass rule. And like I said, I don't agree with it. At all. I don't condone it, but I understand it. The warnings were there. If people didnt react to them, thats their fault.
  7. No one would love to have 2 or 3 accounts at once on a Vita more than me. Id raid the UK store like a motherfucker. But having to reset my system each time? Nah. Its just not worth it.
  8. Definitely. It's not "locked" in the way most would assume. You can delete your card and start a different account any time you want.
  9. I don't know about that. Like I said, its a lot like a handheld and its a lot like a cellphone. My iPhone only has my Apple ID account. Thats it. I would never share my iPhone, so I don't need support for more than one account. At this point to me, multiple accounts on a Vita or 3DS are a feature. An extra something. I truly don't think it's something that "should be". Honestly, is there anything portable that DOES have multiple accounts? Mp3 players, E-readers? Tablets? I think the option isn't there because very few people would use it. And I cant imagine it ever will be. Yeah, its expensive, but when it comes to items that people travel with on their person, most want their own.
  10. Does the PSP support multiple accounts like the PS3? I didnt know that. But Ill stick to what I said earlier. I would never buy things from more than my own account in my own region. I just wouldnt. Especially when the device I use it on makes it such a hassle. I have a UK PS3 account to download free themes and demos they get earlier. That's it. And honestly, the Vita itself is not locked to an account. Just the card. People are acting like theyre severely fucked forever or that they have to get 2 Vitas(which is equally stupid). Theyre not. They gotta do the same tedious shit as before, but with 2 cards now. Sorry if I dont feel sorry for the hassle of handling their luxury item in a way that wasnt intended. If a company doesn't flaunt something, then its probably not a "feature". Its the same thing with game sharing. We all know what its real intention is - to have our games spread across our own systems in case we own more than one. But no. A lot of people use them to play free games on their friend's/family's account. If that goes away someday, I personally wont throw a fit because I don't game share and I don't need to be told it's wrong. I already know so. I doubt a lot of people own more than one PS3, PSP or Vita anyways. Just the entire concept of having different stores for different regions is enough to know they dont want you to have everything from every store, otherwise....they'd have one store? Is it fucking stupid to deprive one region of things another one has? Absolutely. But if its been this long and it's never changed, well fuck it. Ill just deal with it. I personally am not going to risk shit like this happening to me. Blowing up bullshit that will affect almost no one is just ridiculous, but its what the internet loves to do. I doubt this affects anyone here and I doubt this will affect anyone in the future. And the "threat" of this having any kind of negative effect on sales is stupid. Its just shit people say because they know they're already not interested in ever buying it. And you know what? Yeah. Fuck those people. When you have to reset an entire system to switch accounts you should have taken a fucking hint instead of trying to worm your way into bullshit that wasn't normally supported. Deal with it. And the sad thing is that i think all this shit is wrong. There shouldn't be region locking(or regions in general), there should be a way to have multiple accounts on the same card(Id actually would use it if there was), but there is a point where an individual needs to decide what they're going to do about it. These people decided to go against what rules were set and got bitten. Simple as that. Im not defending this stupid move by Sony, but I have zero sympathy for the people it affected. Everyone in this is a stubborn idiot.
  11. Portables arent made to be used by more than one person though. This isnt a Sony thing, its a portable thing. So no, I dont think they ever should be. A handheld console it's its own isolated thing. Its a screen attached to a controller. Obviously meant for one person. Id put a pc and a laptop in the same category. id share a pc, but never a laptop. Thats why Pokemon only has one save slot since the Gameboy days. Its just not meant for sharing. To me, its like sharing your phone or your toothbrush. Id never do that. Everyone should have their own cellphone, laptop, and handheld. Though I am also an only child, so I dont comprehend sharing things that are meant for one person. Im sure people with siblings shared their Gameboys and tshirts and stuff growing up. Not me. Id rather give something away or let a person borrow it for a long period of time. Not use the same thing on and off randomly. Even to this day, playing a single player game with another person by passing off the controller kind of annoys me. I just opt out. But I know a lot of people don't mind playing a game that way. I also realize I seem like a dick and/or a Sony sympathiser. Im not trying to. I just lack that whole "empathy" thing most people have. I tend to not care about most things that dont affect me or that Ive never experienced. Im fucked up like that.
  12. Neogaf made a big deal about it yesterday. Theyre over it for the most part though. When Sony does this sort of thing its usually for piracy prevention, but I have no idea what this does. Normally Id say this is a nonissue since this affects a small fraction of a fraction of another fraction of gamers, but its such a small fraction that Im surprised Sony even bothered to "fix" it. I wonder how they got wind of it. Maybe they did something else and this was just an unintended result. That being said, the Vita wasnt made to have more than one account. No portable has been. I think that's obvious. This thing was a workaround at best and people should have been more cautious before spending all their money at different stores. Even one person having different accounts in different regions they don't live in is sketchy. Its not what was intended, thought quite a few people do it. You have to reset the Vita every single time to use a different account, like a fresh restart. That should be an alarm going on in your head not to fuck around. You cant have all your games from all your accounts neatly on your system. You get an error when you play a game from another account. Some things are made a hassle for a reason. Im neutral on the subject overall. I personally would have never bought stuff from other regions for my Vita because of the fear of something like this happening, but I also think it's silly to block it off now hat people are using it, despite the number of people who use it.
  13. Raiden gameplay. Pretty cool actually. http://www.gamespot.com/playstation-all-stars-battle-royale/videos/playstation-all-stars-battle-royale-raiden-6393850/
  14. Space Channel 5 Part 2 is 3 bucks on PSN. Ive never played any Space Channel game. Anyone recommend it?

Sure. It's wacky whimsical fun. Pretty easy. You repeat combinations of up, down, left, right, shoot, and "hey" with identical timing. It's not at all serious - think Austin Powers meets The Jetsons.

  15. So you dont have any PSone games? Whats wrong with you?
  16. Was it that one that takes place in that lava stage? That thing is like 3 minutes long to get a gold medal, but it always took me like 7. Its a huge level.
  17. Did you get all the dlc trophies too or just the main game? BTW, since im here: Kat is going to be a dlc character in Hot Shots Golf. Weird.
  18. BTW, if you want to transfer screenshots to PC, just use the Flickr app to upload them and go to your flickr account on your pc to download them. Its the easiest way Ive found.
  19. Umm...yeah. You can also take screenshots of Vita games and use them as wallpapers. Or just download wallpapers through the browser. Or use Paint Party to draw your own wallpaper. You can also change the lockscreen wallpaper. Anyways, here's ma shit.
  20. Yeah, Im stretching it. Compared to stuff like Metroid Prime or Half Life I mean. Stuff like Halo or Killzone are just military shooters in space. While a different kind of military, they seem to operate the same way. Ive got nothing against it, but stuff like Halo or God of War or whatever other games from last gen that made the transition over to this gen, they all need a huge change of scenery at least. New places, enemies, weapons without being vague repetitions or clones of previous things. While keeping the same gameplay of course. Kind of how like Mario can somehow run around Galaxies nowadays. You get the same feeling and youre doing the same shit, but it's entirely new. Kratos needs to stop killing Greek Gods and move along to other Gods. Id love that.
  21. Nice. If there arent any sales today, Ill probably get MGS1 and FF9. Might as well. Wipeout 2048, Lumines, Disgaea 3, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma need to go on sale soon. I think I might just cave and get Wipeout 2048 at the store since it's 20 bucks and god knows when PSN will change the price. BTW the white background on the PSone bubbles look so much better than the ugly grey background on the PSP bubbles. Ugh.
  22. One of these days Im going to hold both my hands up in front of me, where I can see them all the time. Ill never put them down. Just to be like my favorite FPS heroes! Maybe Ill hold a Coke bottle or something.

Get one of those shades with TV input and mount a camera at your back. 3rd Person FTW!

I seem to remember someone actually doing this... saw it on youtube a long time ago.

  23. Hmmm. I actually have the opposite feeling. I like it because it looks a lot more scifi and less US military recruitment tool.
