Oopsy, didn't realize I had to accept an invite! I'm in now.

Sent in an invite as well.

I thought about that. I'm considering calling the highest rank the "Dean" as a bit of a joke, but given that that's also my name it could just be incredibly egotistical.

I have work and school all week, but come this weekend I will be more than down. Sending you an invite. Also I suppose we should make a crew on the Social Club. I'll start that, going with Press X Or Die for the name, but I need a motto, and "rank titles". I can't come up with anything creative, so I'll leave it to the rest of you. Thoughts?

That sounds terrifying. Wait until you can update that as well to a Coolermaster, Antec, Corsair, or something more reliable.

Get a new GPU. I'm not too up to date with the latest models, but I'm an Nvidia guy all the way, so I suggest you go with them. As for the second question, the performance increase in pairing two pieces of AMD hardware together vs. 1 Nvidia and 1 AMD is nonexistent.

The clown horn makes that video.

Does anyone else get a Max Payne vibe from Michael? The slow-mo, general disappointment with everything, and then the shootout in the snowy graveyard was right out of Max Payne 3. I feel like Rockstar is kinda going for something there.
-
Thanks GTA V.
-
The stranger mission with the dog was a pretty good one. I guess Franklin can talk to dogs now?
-
Shit, I'm only 50% of the way through.
-
FIFA 14 I'm a whore. I should probably be playing GTA V, since it's out too, and it's a better game, but fuck it, I love me some FIFA.
-
And so it begins.

I totally get why Trevor's there, and he makes the game better as a result; now there's an excuse for blowing shit up and mass murdering tons of civilians. But yeah, I'm with Ethan. He's not a very likeable guy, and some of his dialogue is just plain creepy. I think he'd be a lot better if he was more subtle, a 90's Jack Nicholson type of psychopath, but oh well.
-
I use Trevor's and Franklin's as sort of "oh shit, I'm in trouble" moments, but I usually forget to use Michael's altogether, yep. It just feels so lackluster compared to Trevor's.
-
Me too. The tow truck missions were relatively tedious, but they didn't overstay their welcome too much.
-
I bought the weed place on Venice Beach, but then they asked me to do something for them and I regretted it. I'll worry about that shit when I complete the game.
-
Mine happened on the first mission with Trevor, yep. On a different note, I like how with both planes and helos they just throw you into one in the middle of a mission and are like "do this". It hasn't been that difficult on either of them, but I like the lack of handholding in that respect.

You can use the right stick to aim too and stick your hand out the window and shit.

So far, the reason I've liked GTAV a lot more than GTAIV boils down to the setting. I'm from California, have spent a lot of time in Southern California, and while I've been to New York and could recognize a few landmarks, there's something to be said for when you can drive down streets in a game and go "Oh hey, that looks like the real thing". That, and GTAIV's city environment got a bit boring after a while. The country and small-town environments in V are a great change.
-
Yep. It's pretty fantastic so far.
-
Thoughts so far, for those who've tried it?
-
As I was waiting for GTAV to install today, I realized I didn't have a lot of you added to my new PSN, so I went ahead and did that. So, if you have a friend request from someone you don't recognize, it's probably from me.
-
I'll third that sentiment. I really want it, but with GTAV and FIFA14 coming out those two will demand my time.
