  1. You can't even begin to fathom my confusion. At three hours to complete, three one hour sessions over three days is reasonable. 3 hours would be a fairly speedy run through as well. Routinely takes me 3 calendar days to play games like that. Filthy casual.
  2. People not picking one of the Northern states as the drunkest is silly. Up here you drink to take away the cold.
  3. Newer? Isn't the "newer" G400 the G400s? I guess you're right. Either way, the G400S is fugly, though.
  4. Yes. I was going to get the G400, but they ended up being really similar in price, so I went with the newer one.
  5. Ooh, that's the mouse I have. I love it. I'm switching from a Razer Deathadder, which I really like, but it died on me after many years. Razer's drivers are terribad now, so I'd just rather not deal with them.
  6. Casually play, watch a lot. It's sort of the one sport I follow.
  7. Needed a new, non-Razer mouse. Yes, that jersey has Xbox across the front of it. No, I do not care, not going to stop me from supporting my team. Besides, rumor is the one next year will have Xbox One on it. I'd rather have this one.
  8. I don't quite understand the big city fascination. Only one I've ever enjoyed is London. Smaller cities though, they're fantastic. Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Minneapolis and Denver have all been wonderful when I've visited/lived in them.

  10. I kind of want to get it just to see how Seattle looks. Deadlight was the last Seattle game I played and it wasn't even fucking close. Not even in a nerdy pedantic way. In a way that it could have been any other city. I'm playing through it now. As a (former) Seattle resident it looks okay, I suppose. Props to them for not just going "LET'S PUT THE SPACE NEEDLE EVERYWHERE", but I don't really think the art style and camera lends itself too much to showing off their interpretation of cities ala Fallout 3 or New Vegas. I will say it's got that dark and gloomy aesthetic down pat.
  11. Dean pronounced Dean here. Boooring.
  12. Assassin's Creed 3. It's pretty good. I do understand why a lot of people didn't like it, it doesn't really change much other than the setting, combat and controls are still easy peasy, but as someone who hasn't played an Asssassin's Creed game to completion since Brotherhood, it's a good return to the series. On and the naval combat is fantastic.
  13. Euro Truck Simulator 2. It's actually kinda fun and relaxing. Not disappointed with where my $10 has gone.
  14. From the Steam Sale: Gifted or traded via 4-packs: From what I've played so far, they're all pretty good. Especially Euro Truck Simulator 2, oddly enough, but I sort of hate fun, so take that with a grain of salt. Even Nazi Zambies is fun in bro-op.
  15. This is my problem as well. I suppose I can move to AT&T or Sprint if I wanted to only be able to take calls on my front porch.
  16. Sold my old drumset I've had since high school. Little sad to see it go, but dosh.

I find I get a sentimental attachment to any instruments I got in high school, that prevent me from getting rid of them.

  17. As someone said, subsidized. Yeah, fuck the man and all, but I'm content with what I have. As for the whole iOS vs. Android thing, so far I'm happy. I think Android is probably a superior OS in its purest form (Nexus), but my iPhone does what I want it to do, and that's good enough for me.
  18. Done with my Droid X2 and its very very very old version of Android, and didn't want to splash the cash for a Nexus 4. This appeared on sale, so I figured why not.
  19. http://www.giantbomb.com/articles/ryan-davis-1979-2013/1100-4685/ Ryan Davis of GiantBomb died July 3rd. While I can't say I met him or knew him personally, it's still pretty sad; he always seemed like a nice, levelheaded guy on their videos and podcasts. Site certainly won't be the same without him. He was also on his honeymoon and had a pretty messed up lastish tweet. Just sad all around, the gaming press lost a good dude.
  20. Now that he's WD40'd it, he probably can't.
  21. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/07/07/us/san-francisco-plane-crash.html?hp&_r=0 Pretty interesting. I know someone who works in SFO's ATC tower, will have to ask him about it.

It seems like one set of gear smacked the seawall, which caused the pilot to screw up the flare and bounce the tail on the ground.
