    I don't want to be that guy but there's a reason the show is so highly rated (like in the 90's). Characters are top-notch is the main reason so keep watching. Having said that, I still need to watch Homeland and finish the Wire. Anybody here willing to give me a heads up on how Homeland is?

    They call it hillbilly Noir as in detective stories taking place with hillbillys. But yeah it isn't much darker or stylized in the noir fashion

    Maybe I'm just not impressed by Tom Cruise anymore but this looks meh for me as of right now.

    I'd honestly say it depends on the person. I've drank inhuman amounts of alcohol at points in my life, and may wake up groggy and sick like once in a while but never to the point I can't move and be productive or my ears being sensitive. I'd say beers and wine. But I think it all depends on how much of the alcohol you're drinking and not realizing it due to sugar masking the flavor.

    Justified is my favorite cop show period. I love the show's hillbilly-noir. Season 2 is some of the finest television there is, and I believe the main baddie even won her Emmy from it. Season 1 and 3 are also great but season 2 is just fantastic. I'm hoping season 4 can bring some more season 2 magic.

    They'll see it'll catch their eyes, they might ask their friends if anybody has heard about it (chances are one will) and they'll tell him it is a fantastic series. They'll give it a shot, see there's no multiplayer and maybe get angry. But once they start playing it, they might love it. I have a friend who is by no means a dudebro but he hangs out with the pretty athletic guys in my university. He played Bioshock 1 entirely based on intellectual and gaming merits. I mean sure lots of dudebros will hide their intelligence and tastes from the others, but many can still like stuff that isn't alcohol and beer. There's a whole frat in here where I live full of those people.

    My recommendation for first-time drinkers is to start with beers or mixed drinks that are like MUCH more the non-alcoholic beverage. Easiest to move on to would be beer though. Try something standard though. Like Heineken. If you can't like the standard beers you might still like say the seasonal beers, but you'll have a much harder time finding one that you like imho.

    If you're complaining about the cover you were already gonna buy it. When dudebro goes to Gamestop and sees it he'll say "aH FUCK YEAH ANGRY GUY SHOOTING GUNS" and buy it. When mama or girlfriend walks into the store, gets recommended the game and sees it she'll say "Oh yeah bobby likes these games" and get it. They can only increase sales. If somebody swears off the game because the Box Art is not Picasso buttfucking Happy little trees and clouds then that's even more shallow than what they did.

    Even if people didn't like it, I am absolutely thrilled Walking Dead got the recognition it deserved. I wish Dishonored would've won more but best action-adventure of the year is great too. They'll improve and come back again.

      Go around the web. I mean I usually see whiners but this is ridiculous. I thought the game was loved by most gamers but so many people feel it didn't deserve the award. Besides Dishonored or many XCOM I didn't see anything else deserving it. And FC3 came out too late so it wasn't eligible.

    So I officially have the coolest secret santa ever. ThursdayNext sent me Farcry 3 when I had only mentioned it as a comparison of what I am looking forward to. Once he logs back in I'll thank him properly with blowies or something because this is absolutely amazing. I don't know what to say besides thanks man.     Man you'd think it'd be the other way around haha. My launch lasted maybe 2 years, died on me, I had another one for like a year with the warranty, last warranty one for 3 or 4 and this one I bought recently in college since I was out of warranty and had to get one to play vidja gaemz.

    I saw it. It looks like another great action-packed sci-fi film. Though I demand that Cumberbatch's Khan should've had the tagline "Here Cums the Batch of problems"

    The checkpoint system is horrible. The Saints had too many enemies in the last area so I had to do it somewhat steathy. Only like 6 missions away

    If somebody had to describe this game it'd have to be something like: The game where you actually play like Hitman in missions that are old school. And whenever you are given of the newer 'hunted' action packed missions you try, try, try, try and then you give up and just fucking go guns blazing.
