Haha will do, I've been gridning over and over again but can now relatively safely enter the forest area without getting any more ass fucked than I would in the starting dungeon. Also since I've started the game I've reloaded my family like 4 times for 2 reasons: 1. Starting dungeon with first knight. Depending how easy it is/how much money I can make it helps out immensely in future runs as I can get useful stats and runes from the get-go. If I suck in the first dungeon I tend to suck in the other castle reloads so it's kind of an omen. 2. I've now learned how I want to make my tree and have avoided classes I dont' use like the miner, the archmage and the spellthief.

This is stupid. Because studios exceeding their budget/needing their time is such a rare occurrence. Fuck off. They're being honest. How about you unclench them buttcheeks and read that sentence again. I never stated I was pissed or disappointed, I stated what happened which is what did happen. The budget was originally $400,000. They made around 7.5 times what they needed. Reality is that they made the project too big, like it or not. Never stated it didn't happen or whether their plan was dumb either. Jesus. You really need to lay off the sarcasm whenever you want to make a point, it doesn't make you look smart as much as it makes you sound like a dick. They started the movement of games in Kickstarter. This sets a bad example for the Kickstarter games and might be used as fuel by those who are already skeptical/hating. Pretending it's not an issue is insane, whether it's a development or situation one.

Do you have Firefox? If so I recommend using the LastPass app [if Chrome/your browser of choice doesnt have it]. It has saved me in two aspects: 1. When you log into a website it asks if you want it to remember the username/password. From now on whenever you visit that website it'll autofill the password and username. 2. You can even auto-log in in many websites as well. The LastPass vault with all your shit is protected by a password but you can log in/out whenever you want to protect your info. Main password you'd have to remember is the lastpass vault. I personally keep it open since nobody else uses my computer.

There's a flying rune? Jesus I ain't finding shit. Maybe it's in the forest.

It's a pretty addicting game. Lots of replay value too. Considering you're basically replaying the game each time your castle is remade lol

Ah. Admittedly I have some issues with the game but it isn't anything with dodging. It'd probably have to do with the chances of encountering armor parts.
-
Yeah the issue here is they got big heads and didn't manage properly how big they made the game.
-
That's debatable as with a controller I've been doing just fine. The dodging/dash maneuver isn't meant to make you invulnerable it's to avoid damage if possible and go further than with a regular jump. Jumping is context sensitive, dashing isn't. As for dodging the key of the game is to attack and move back. A lot of the game is entering a room, killing nearby enemies and if there's a shitload of them going back into the door so they spawn back to their starting location.

Shitty controls? Are you playing with a controller? The game was basically designed to be played with one. I've been playing with a 360 gamepad and if I die it's due to my error.

It's a good thing you got him for the whole year. My friends struggled so much finding roomies for the amount of time they needed they basically had to beg people and haggle with them to sign up. They even had to bargain with changing something they didn't like of them, like being dirty motherfuckers. Boy did that house turn christian to the point we couldn't hang out there just to not piss off one of their roomies.

To add to the "responding with one word" discussion going on, I've been guilty of it especially on Steam chat. It's not that I don't want to chat with you, chances are I have nothing to contribute or the image/video you linked me didn't amuse me enough to make me say anything besides "lol" When somebody else does it to me, especially after I write a wall of text I take the hint they don't care about the topic enough to write full responses. Like them discussing politics and me responding, then switching the topic to a specific game and them saying "heh". You know who you are. You basta'd.

I mean it kinda suits a tv screen but the problem with that is that yes, you lose the aspect of all fighting in the same screen and spectators watching. But I've reached an age where the chances a bunch of buddies can get together to play Super Smash like in high school/college are damn slim. It's a shame as those were some of my best memories in HS, but life moves on and evolves so must I. And that comes to a SSB game where I don't have to buy a new console and then largely ignore it. I haven't been ignoring my 3DS because there are so many games I want. For the Wii U the only games I'd really play are SMTXFire Emblem, Super Smash, Mario and maybe a new Zelda when it comes out. Everything else that might come out, at least as of right now, I can probably get on another console. Third party support for the Wii U largely involves third party support for somebody else, while the 3DS tends to be exclusive to the 3DS.

You also made the right choice about getting them at separate ages/not at the same time. A big mistake many dog owners do that they end up regretting is getting two dogs at the same time. It's nice in the sense of "oh they'll have company when I'm gone working" but they don't take into consideration that if they have somebody else besides you they'll grow to love one another and be the best of friends and they'll never love you as much. Not to mention if one puppy can do damage to the house, two puppies can do exponentially more damage.

I've found that those classes that are based off MP are not my style specifically because you'd need to have OCD to charge up MP easily, or be a spellthief. But archmages are the ones with the cool special magic powers. I was considering being one when they had the time stopping powers but then I saw it was also spell-cycle.

Yeah started a new family. Basically put a lot of points into health and strength, and now the only mistake I made is that I put points into the spellthief thinking it would take me to the shinobi upgrade but it didn't and the spellthief is a bit too specific for my playstyle [aka spells which i never use]. So now I've unlocked the lich and in the future I should be able to upgrade the shinobi and lich class [which are the two my buddy recommended anyways]. I finally beat the first boss and funny enough I did so with a Barbarian and his gigantic amount of life alongside a knight chestplate. The trick was probably not wearing the blood armor. Man that was a mistake. Not only is it heavy, the health sucking is only useful if you have character that does't get hit often and kills fast, which for me tends to be the shinobi or paladin. Anything else is basically useless. I still don't like the assassin class since I'd have to basically make a playthrough where I spend money on critical hit and damage. Fuck that. I'm happy with the Shinobi/Lich/Paladin/Barbarian classes. They all have their uses. Shame when I have to choose between others though.

This is the Super Meatboy/Dark Souls of Castlevania Symphony of the Night. If anybody else here has it I'd love to discuss what you consider the proper way to build the tree/spend money. Right now I'm playing to the point where with a paladin/shinobi/barbarian king I can do decently well in the first area without getting my ass kicked until I reach all the gold in it but man oh man if the fucking boss still takes away like 40 damage per hit even when I'm like 3 levels away from him [giant eye]. The blood armor combo I'm wearing is nice due to taking 6 health per hit, the downside is that each piece takes away 30 health. Which is a shame because this is probably the most useful set I can afford as downgrading to the knight equivalent won't make the hits per enemy any lower it would just make my life bigger.

I think I might genuinely have to start over with Rogue Legacy as a new family. I've wasted so much money on the miner tree and it fucking blows donkey dick.

Super Smash handheld for me. That was 50% of the reason for me to get a Wii U if it wasn't for handhelds.
-
Well Pan's Labyrinth is indeed his current masterpiece but I don't know if this movie is trying to go for the same. I'd say this is closer to Hellboy in terms of what to expect.
-
It doesn't have to be more ridiculous than Transformers which basically stopped giving a fuck with any plot and just focused on action and robots looking cool. This is trying to be an homage to old kaiju/giant monster films of days past. I think the closest we've had to a good one of that is Cloverfield.

I want to be part of this conversation but I'm not into law and politics enough to contribute anything worthwhile. Unless one of you... HAS BETRAYEDTHELAAAAAAAAAW

You make a good point. or as he would say "Wow way to point the obvious you foam-spitting neanderthal. Your worth to this planet is equivalent to that of a parasite"

Basically what Strangelove said: - DIrected and partially written by Guillermo Del Toro who is well loved among nerds for his films and loved among critics for Pan's Labyrinth. - He tends to have really cool monster/creature designs and art style in his works, look at Pan's Labyrinth and the second Hellboy film. - Charlie Day, Ron Perlman and Charlie Hunnam. Funny enough all three of them are from highly viewed/rated FX shows with the latter two being in the same one [sons of Anarchy]. I am really excited to see Hunnam in a blockbuster film as I think he's brilliant in Sons of Anarchy and want him to get more popularity and explode like other tv actors. -Lastly and more importantly it's NOT Michael Bay. Which almost guarantees it won't be pandering to the lowest common denominator as badly as he does and since it's not based off a children's toyline it won't necessarily have to appeal to kids as well as adults.

FDS there was a better way of saying that without sounding like an ass. Also out of curiosity is the xbox division cursed? Seems to me that they lose big division execs faster than anything else I read of, at least gaming/technology wise.
