I've seen projects I have supported add them near the start, but like FLD said I've seen more add them once they reach their initial goal as a way to entice people to spread it by word of mouth.

All this talk of White Walkers just makes me dread where he's gonna take that whole plotpoint. I feel it's gonna either add 2 more books to his list, or it's gonna be extremely underwhelming/shoe-horned among the other stories.

I keep my Nintendo games for that specific reason. Even a game as fantastic in story and single player as Fire Emblem I would never trade because I know I'll want to play it again in some future. Is this the reason why Nintendo games never go down in price? lol

I think it has more to do with them stating over and over again they were aiming for the bare minimum, not to mention the reasons you mentioned but more importantly the amount of Kickstarter projects there are now.

Kawaii Titan was a prediction for the future. Also to discuss anime stuff I have been watching a lot of shoujo anime and by far the best one I've seen is kore wa zombie desu ka. The OVA episode of the first season is some of the funniest shit I've seen in anime. I've been rewatching Monster in anticipation of a future HBO live action series that hopefully happens by mid-2014. I've also seen random harem-like animes in hopes one of them would have an actual cheesy romance and not the main character falling for every woman but nope. I might start Gintama pretty soon too.

So Kotaku just wrote an article about Sony not being clear. See Ethan I have a similar love for Halo. My friends and I are disappointed in ourselves. That's because we love Halo, we really do, but for some weird reason Halo 4 didn't do it for us. And it wasn't its fault. Graphics were better, story was interesting and the live action prequel was fantastic too. Mutliplayer was fun too. I genuinely think we're done with Halo as a franchise though. But Destiny. Oh man. Destiny has gotten me excited for a shooter like nothing has in a huge while. Last time I got this excited was Halo 3. Maybe Bungie has something 343 doesn't, or maybe I really was done with Halo. I'll never know.
