  1. Glad you liked it. I think this game is what got me into Fire Emblem. If you liked this one and can somehow obtain a 3DS I can't recommend Fire Emblem Awakening enough. I seriously cannot. If Persona 4 and this game were in my top 5 jRPG's of all time, I could say that FEA could easily be my number 1 or at least number 2.
  2. Hey. Don't insult it like that it's not THAT bad. Cabela's Hunt is much better than this.
  3. Damn I'm liking Tomb Raider more than Uncharted in terms of atmosphere and platforming. Though Uncharted has TR beat in Indiana Jones-esque story

IT'S HARD FOR ME. WAIT WHAT ARE WE REFERRING TO HERE. Also is it not a bit like Temple of Doom? That is an Indiana Jones-esque story.

You know that's true but she's a girl and doesn't have a sassy nature around her nor a romantic interest who is there to look good. So Uncharted 1 takes the cake there

  4. There's always meowney in the banana stand.
  5. I might be a horrible person but whenever I'm playing this game I'm thinking to myself "the things I would do to LAURA Croft mm mm"
  6. I hope it won't be a problem where you as the player know what the game is saying but the character doesn't. Like if you have to listen in on mexican workers doing something and then walk towards whatever you have to do, that's fucking perfect. If you have to talk to them, they speak spanish and your character is like O_O and chooses an option wrong that's gonna be frustrating. Hopefully they also have french and other languages as if it's primarily spanish and english slang we might be fine for the most part.
  7. If I play can all of you leave me alone so I can thrive being peaceful? Probably not but hey, it's worth a shot asking
  8. I think FDS for the most part isn't trying to be antagonistic, he just has a very very bad choice of words that end up coming with negative connotation
  9. I couldn't give a crap about the other ones but I'm really interested in this one
  10. I especially loved how unapologetic they were about ignoring the fact it' set in high school. It has nothing to do with the setting and I found that hilariously awesome. I tried to watch a trailer for that Veronica Mars show to see if it was a similar high school noir and oh god no it isn't
  11. Been reading Silver Spoon by the creator of Full Metal Alchemist. I'm not one that tends to read Slice of Life comics but this one is absolutely brilliant. It has the brilliant humor we saw in FMA mixed with an over-all light hearted nature. It also gives a lot of information on farming and those topics. It has plenty of serious/drama moments but the character is basically Edward in the sense of being the comic's clown but serious when it needs to be. And I'm not gonna lie the evolving relationship between Edward and Winry was brilliantly written in the manga and this one has a similar one between the protagonist and the love interest. Only difference is that since it's a slice of life it's already moving somewhat faster which I like. This is probably the author's relaxation after FMA as it deals with a topic very close to her heart and it shows. It wins plenty of awards and it's getting an anime this year. Even if you don't like Slice of Life (like me) I'd still recommend you give it a try if you've been looking for something to read. I started yesterday and caught up today (OCD reader and all) but there are currently about 67 chapters out.
  12. Brick. No words can describe how much I loved this movie
  13. OH YEAH. LIFE GOES AWWWWWWWWWWWWN. Long after the thrill of reading Kotaku is gone.
  14. Man imagine if it were a couple of guys in a city map and a DM-esque player controlling certain aspects like NPC's and police/situations.
  15. Everybody misses the old Kotaku with Crecente and McWhertor and shit. Problem is that dreaming about it won't make them come back. I don't feel that Polygon gives them enough blog freedom as Kotaku so it's not a good enough substitute but eh. Life moves on.
  16. I've honestly found that not giving enough of a crap has worked for me. I find all the different articles interesting. I love japanese culture. I see it more as a blog that updates me on news and writes journal entries now.
  17. I feel like you're trying to say something
  18. No words. No words. My Jimmy is back in tip top shape. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=L4-6SgBfTOw
  19. Day two of Fire Emblem Obsession, 11 and a half hundred hours: Haven't seen my friends or folks for what feels like ages now. Faces are but a fading memory. I can't feel my toes. But I have'ta. I have'ta get this relationship to S-rank to see the children. God help us.

Friends? You have friends. Frederick, Ricken, Ana, and Cordelia are your friends now. You don't need any other friends.

  20. If I may give a suggestion to interested parties, if you like point and click adventure games and quirky humor, and happen to really miss Monkey Island, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Deponia.
  21. Man I wish you could have something like that as a computer background.
  22. that is both one of the cutest and one of the most annoying sounds I've ever heard
  23. Man it sucks not having any major new anime to watch but at least I'm showing my friends some of the best out there. Currently watching with them Durarara and while not to the same quality of Baccano I still think it was a fantastic anime.
  24. Just started this game and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite JRPG's (P4G became one as well). Gawd so many characters and interactions. It's a bit overwhelming right now with all of the freedom I can have with weapon management and character pairings but I'll manage haha.
