I don't need a prequel to a prequel. I need a sequel to the prequel that takes place before the first title (inorite?) And I don't know about you but... but after you mentioned IW i got reminded that trying to find a middle-ground might end up being shitty so maybe it IS best to do a new story. Ugh. This is my problem with multiple choice endings. A character as awesome as Jensen may not get another game because of a design choice nobody really liked anyways (for the most part)

The ending sequence of HR already hinted at stuff leading into the first game. I still think that Jensen's story has more than enough to tell another game so I'll be looking forward to this if it indeed is a sequel. Heck to be completely honest I even hope they eventually remake/retell Deus Ex and Deus Ex 2. I'd love to play modern interpretations of those games.

Yeah announcers play a huge part. I think it's because all of their good ones are on American Football. But I've noticed that being TOO familiar with the sport in the culture can also lead to another problem: low-class. Watching a match in a channel like one of the cable mexican channels can get grating when the announcers are talking about the history as to why Venezuela has maroon for a shirt and then proceed to discuss and research it when a match is going on.

Yep. My friends have stated that outright on multiple occasions. They feel that there is almost no excitement to ALMOST making a goal or seeing a beautiful repetition of what could have been one I won't disagree that a lot of soccer is ruined with the Shakespeare play acting by players but I see it as part of the charm nowadays. Plus watching a sport in 1 hour and 45 minutes vs 4 hours is better. I won't waste my whole day watching the game.

I was personally speaking of just country football/futbol/soccer. League/Premiere/Whatever soccer doesn't interest me. I enjoy a match if my friends are watching but I feel no emotional connection to the team. Same with NFL. I love college football and country soccer because I can feel connections with the countries.

I dunno. Maybe it won't be a downer as much as a mutual understanding that even though they like each other they are WAY too different. I find it cute that they're really trying to make it work and understand each other though. Some people speculate that when the Fire King said that going against her nature would result in a change for her so maybe she'll change into something else if she changes.

Ever since I caught up with the Berserk manga I feel the pain of long-time fans. Every day I check for a new chapter edit: @Atomsk: Been reading that manga you posted. That guy is like the manga version of me in the way he deals with women. In like everyway. It's fucking scary.

Maybe I'll check the manga out to get a picture of what I should be expecting. While I did like Evangelion, it's not my favorite. Is there anything else you can perhaps compare it to? I feel it is slightly reminiscent of FMA: Brotherhood, but only a small bit and more near the very end of the anime/manga. Well yeah. When FMA Brotherhood gets to the ridiculous battles then yeah, it's similar to that. Edit: Also the second i saw that trailer was from the guy of 5CPS I was all "NOPE" I don't watch my romantic anime for heartbreak. I watch it for the cheese

I've read the manga up until the current issue. When I say it's Evangelion meets fantasy setting I'm not kidding. You should like it depending on how much you like the main character taking a back seat in some episodes to expand on the other protagonists (ala GitS).

I gotta go with Jack here. We can't expect a reboot of a series that, let's be honest, has seen way better days to break out of the mold before they can establish themselves again. If this were a much smaller scale project they might be able to do something weird and artistic. You bring a good point Gerbil. I think part of the reason I wanted like Far Cry 3 more than I actually did was because at the beginning they gave you the illusion that your character was disgusted about killing and new to shooting. But once you get past the tutorial you're basically a stone-cold killing machine with the aim of an experienced soldier.

I'm all for equality but as a minority I didn't give a fuck that there weren't enough hispanics or blacks in the presentation because I was there to watch games not make sure we were equally represented. If these guys were the best option for the presentation and represented names we could recognize why should they bring a random presenter just to keep it PC? It worked for Ubisoft because w/e her name was WAS one of, if not THE, lead producers/designers of the game and for all we know she had the best communication ability. Picking your fights I also support. I feel that the reason they need to even choose these situations for battles nowadays is because they can't find many subjects where it's clearly black and white discrimination/sexism. When you sit down and ask many (note I didn't say all) women what working in the industry is like they'll say that the men they work with treat them and respect them even possibly more than their male coworkers.
