At first I thought it was a joke that aliens was so bad that you consider it losing. Then I thought no no no maybe he already has the game and is just competitive so he joined the raffle. Then Vecha posted and I guess I was right the first time..

So Kotaku brings a good point. With Facebook links in the PS4 complete anonymity might not be a thing anymore? What say you PXOD'ers (pronounced Puh-cs-aud-urs)? Are you for or against a future with real names over fake ones in gaming?

Kidding aside, What's required would probably be your basic profile info so they can display your name there. Access to news feed if you want them to post so it means optional. Maybe facebook chat, so your boss that you somehow added on facebook can ask you about that game you're playing when you take a sickday of work... which would be optional also. The integration won't be required at all I would bet, it's just to show the potential social connectivity you could have. Ther...

There... was something else I was saying but I changed my mind about it so... yeah. I believe it would be optional. With some control on what it posts too, like post my videos is OK, post my purchase is not, post my trophies is ok. Which I did with the PS3 for a few months but nobody really cared about my platinums...

1. As noted PS3 already can connect to FB.
2. It's entirely optional. Can't make it mandatory as not everyone is on FB. And be silly to rely on a third party; see Instagram and Falcon Pro.
