    I thought ZD30 was well executed and a fantastic film. I also thought the same of Argo and many other films this year. Similarly though I'm sure Lincoln as a great movie, but I fucking hate Oscars bait and that's the same kind as The King's Speech. Somebody needs to replace these older folks voting for the academy with somebody that can objectively view all types of movies and doesn't jizz at the first sight of old time movies or british government films. The worst offender in my opinion will always be the loss of A Clockwork Orange. Sure it lost to Forrest Gump, but that's not the first nor the last time shit like that has happened. Also if something like Frankenweenie beats ParaNorman as best animated film I'll lose all hope.

    Been reading the Berserk manga after watching the two Golden Age Arc films, eagerly waiting for the third later this year. Either ways some may disagree but I'm glad the story has constant comic relief characters in it. It'd be too fucking depressing otherwise. In fact everything from The Eclipse up until it returns to him with Puck is some of the most outright fucking disgustingly "I want to cut myself kill me now" shit I've read. Guts deserves such a massive bro-fist. Puck and Ishi for presidents

    Man trying to play old school WRPG's is tiring. Some of the design choices of back then haven't aged well imho and as much as I try it seems like anything pre-KOTOR might be too outdated for me now.

      I feel the same way. The exception being that I can still play some older JRPGs, like Tales of Destiny and Pokemon gen 1, which is funny because I just cannot make myself play newer JRPGs, much as I might want to.

      That might have to do with JRPG's being largely story based and back then they were over-all at their best. WRPG's of back then were largely inventory and party based, and I am too story driven to just play a game with that

    Yeah there wasn't much dealing with the actual book but that wasn't my issue. My issue was just the presentation of their message. It could have been done much more tactfully like in Wall-E.

    Just watched Berserk Golden Age Arc I and II. Part III comes out in a few in Japan and hopefully isn't too much longer till it's online. The animation is weird. They seem to have mixed CGI with hand drawn anime, the former being a large portion of the over-all product. Some people didn't like it and my friends and I weren't too in love with it all the way up until the end of the first movie. The second movie it REALLY fucking works out though. It is just absolutely fantastic. edit: also a fellow anime lover posted the trailer for this anime and I am eagerly awaiting it now.     The thing about most holidays is that unless the citizens get something outright from them, they won't care. Everybody loves Christmas and the breaks because they signify free time or presents. People love Halloween because candy and boobies. But the rest of the days where they take a day off are just remembered because they get a day off.
