Just got Borderlands 2. I tried so hard not to spend money frivolously, too...I'm mad at myself... Whatever, time to blow shit up.

Xenoblade was pretty fantastic. This new one seems to use a similar UI and open-world layout. Some bits in the trailer make it seem like it's going to be online(spread out allies, a chat window), that one I'm not sure what to think. I can only hope it doesn't take a few years for an NA release this time, but seeing how this was on a western Nintendo Direct, maybe the odds are good? Kinda odd how this is the game I'm most excited for.

The shadows throw me off more than anything.

Quite an impressive showing. Shin Megami Tensei/Fire Emblem crossover, Wind Waker HD, Yoshi's Epic Yarn, Bayonnetta 2, new Xeno game(I got my eyes on that one), and VC. Kinda sucks that you'll have to pay for the games again, but at least they're not forcing full price. I don't agree with paying twice, but it could be worse. Oh, and a smartphone Miiverse. Kinda nifty.

Between the case, PSU, and peripherals, $700 max. I'd feel better if it were $500 or under, though, but I did set my cap long before I started this rig, so as long as it's within $700, that's fine by me. That's a nice looking case, if a bit flashy, though. I'll see what I can research from it.

Some assistance! Since my brother moved out, he left me his desktop. It's served me well, but he's about ready to take it back. That being said, I got enough to make my own rig. I've settled with most of my parts. I'm just uncertain on a casing, PSU capacity(I'm eyeing an 850W), and peripherals. That's where you folks come in. If you've got any suggestions on monitors, keyboards/mice, PSU, and casing, I'd love to hear 'em. It's been quite a while since I've built my last one, so I'm a bit out of my game. Kinda late for posting this, but what the hey. Xbox Live has The Walking Dead Ep. 1 for free(for a week, I think), and each other episode is 50% off. You can play the first episode and nab the other 4 for $10. Today only, though, so if you got a 360 and haven't had a chance to play, it's worth a look. I HOPE it also applies to free members, but I don't know about that one...

I'd like to give it a shot myself. Though, I'm a bit hesitant to start a new character if we go to a server different than mine. I play on the Waterson server(US East). Stable connection, high population, rather balanced factions. Also, it might be a good idea to make a thread over at the event planning forum.

Felt kind of weird voting in a church today... Went in kind of late in the day, figured I'd be waiting in line. Surprisingly, finished my ballot in less than 10 minutes. Didn't see that coming. And I can vouch for Florida's general amount of crazy. These folk ain't right.

Pretty sure he meant it in regards to the multiplayer. Unfortunately, the only way to find out for sure is to speculate wildly.

Is it weird that I've NEVER had a lucid dream? Not once, every time I'm completely unaware of its surrealism. Can't remember the last thing I dreamt too clearly, but the radio was left on the talk station and I was somehow constructing what was said into a dream in real-time. Something about the constituion? Pretty cool, but I still can't remember what it was about...strange. Seems I'm more likely to dream when sick. There's been one recurring nightmare since I was about 4 or 5 that only happens when I have a bad fever. Doesn't happen all too much in this climate, but it's bound to come back again some day. Still don't know what it means...

Got myself an Asus tf700t as a mini-replacement for my dying laptop. My first android device; not sure what the hell to do with it. Spent most of the day downloading apps and setting it up. Still not sure if I'm missing any "essential" apps, but I think I got most of 'em? Either way, it'll serve nicely for note-taking and some much needed mobility compared to my xp-rocking, 7.5lb, "please don't open too many folders, my 5 minute battery-life and Core 2 Duo can't take that much low processing" laptop of 5 years.

And so ends our tourney. I suppose some final words are in order, huh fellas? It was a wild ride. Blood, tears, saltiness, exhaustion, and a lot of lost matches against that one guy... Great tourney, guys. I had a ton of fun. Hat's off to the champ, Six, even if our finale wasn't as exciting as I hoped it'd be personally...I expected fire and flames... Cheers all around. Now, time to rest. Exhaustion hit hard...

It should work for me too, assuming all goes well during my dental appointment that day. If I don't show up that night...remember me as a peacemaker.

Weekdays after 7p are fine for me, and I'll be available all day Saturdays. I won't be available on Sundays, though.
