  1. The only skins I'm not really a fan of are the Sinestro Corps. one and the DKR one (the latter purely for aesthetic reasons). Really digging some of the others, and they should make all the challenges and New Game Plus a little more interesting.
  2. I'm sure I've had them before but as very small things in part of some biscuit pick 'n' mix pack. Like 'nibbles' for a party. As far as crackers go, I love Scottish oatcakes. Apparently, there are regional differences, but this is very much like a biscuit.
  3. http://youtu.be/tduQ2icw6VE Which is also reminiscent of something I probably posted before.
  4. Started some Christmas shopping. Having three sisters to buy for is tough, but they know that I can pick out some good films, TV shows, books and CDs, so get clothes and such from people who know better. - 30 Rock: Season Three (she might not be aware that I'd seen her mention she only just bought S2) - The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde (I know T-Next loves these and considering one sister is an English Lit graduate, she should hopefully enjoy it) - The Peter Serafinowicz Show (I know she'd love this because he is great)
  5. It'll take some getting used to, but I think it's OK. I'm just happy that everything seems to be loading a little quicker. Other than that, I'm sure I'll be able to find my way around easily enough.
  6. Grabbed the Skins Pack for Arkham City. Considering how much cheaper the PC version is, and that it was £3.25 for all of them, I am cool with that. Plus, the patch released today and has certainly improved performance.
  7. You should totally fill it in as 'This is just a port of Ben Kuchera's joke. Ignore this. 0.5/10 ' and put it in the comments.
  8. Really like that. And had never heard of them before. Thanks!
  9. Must have missed that, and I actually haven't seen that film in years. Damn. Also, Graham Green or the Graham Greene?
  10. I was reminded of this thing when I saw this clip of Nolan North during the Eurogamer Expo. He says 'Graham' as 'Gram' whereas English people say it more like 'Gray-um'. I think I first noticed it when I saw how 'Graham Crackers' was said on some TV show (I've not actually seen those crackers over here).
  11. Well, I'm not really basing that off everything you've said. I've been reading bits about it from all over. As you may be aware, I was pretty underwhelmed by a lot of Brotherhood, and Revelations doesn't sound like it improves on any of that. The only thing that would keep me interested is some significant story developments but it doesn't even sound like it has that going for it. It's not even the cost that bothers me, I just don't think I'd have the patience for it. And it doesn't help that Arkham City does almost everything they share in common much better.
  12. Was supposed to track down a serial killer. Collected a bunch of riddler trophies instead...

You were supposed to get fries. Shit, at most I'll end up grabbing a McFlurry too. But never have I being so distracted at getting fries as batman.

  13. Dark Souls did not interest me. The Witcher 2 was a close contender.
  14. Despite the story problems, it was a lot of fun and I can see myself going back to do a load of riddles and challenges. It is also my personal GOTY.
  15. So, I beat Arkham City. That last Catwoman mission was a pain. I think it just about beats Deus Ex: Human Revolution as my GOTY. They both have their different problems but I can see myself playing Arkham City a lot more.
  16. My problem with Batman TAS is I have to remember that it's for kids because, otherwise, the writing just makes my eyes roll. Although I think Dini, the writer behind Asylum and Arkham City, did pen some of the more interesting episodes, and you can usually tell they're his because they play around with structure. Visually, is it amazing and, of course, the music is great. It just irks me to see Batman do an face or fail in some of the ways he does. That's probably more down to the comics and films though. Interesting that the series spawned Renee Montoya and Harley Quinn though. Anyway, if I recall, Talia's first appearance is in Off Balance, which was a fairly good episode.
  17. Oh, I should mention that the other problem is that a few times it has loaded and then CTDed on the main screen. Which is annoying because it takes a while to load (and I have to remember to turn off my speakers for the stupid nvidia splash screen).
  18. Sorry, in no way were you right. Mel-ee just sounds dumb. May-lay is using the French style, but I don't mind mel-ay. Either way, I am probably most fussy about the fact that there is originally an é, so the end takes on an 'ay' sound. One thing I thought was clever is that Segway uses the actual pronunciation of segue, and it is a way of getting from one point to another, smoothly. Meh-ley/Mel-ee is the French way. May-lay is the Anglicized/Americanized version. - http://en.wiktionary...l%C3%A9e#French It's only since reading A Song of Ice and Fire that I've become accustomed to hearing may-lay. Hmm, interesting. Makes me wonder how they say entrée, toupée and fiancée (and I'm sure there are probably others like that).
  19. I haven't noticed major problems. The framerate drastically dropped when I was in the courthouse but that issue seemed to go when my drivers updated. Occasionally, I will get a moment or two of slowdown but I think that's from loading the area in. As far as actual problems go, I have noticed the audio go out of sync during a couple of in-engine cutscenes, not FMVs.

  21. The thing I found tricky as an Adept is that you have to think about how you're aiming your powers. Got so used to just telling squadmates to do them during other playthroughs that I got lazy and would send lots of biotics into walls. Not that those walls didn't deserve it. Bastards.
