Not sure this warrants its own thread (yet?) but looks like there is going to be a Firefly game after all. Seems to have been announced a little while back, but the first I heard of it was the other day. Due to arrive Summer 2014 on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS (with your account carrying across for whichever, should you wish for portability).
It's called Firefly Online but is a single-player RPG with social features like trading, rescuing, creating quests etc. None of that 'invite 5 friends to get your ship an engine'.
Will have a bunch of customisation options as well as crafting, and it seems like it'll have a turn-based combat system in the X-COM mould (or the option to try and smooth-talk your way out if you fancy).
It actually doesn't sound half bad. Though, obviously, there's not much to go on right now besides that brief and a few bits of concept art and development shots (that io9 handily put into a big article). I wouldn't go expecting anything wildly complex, of course, because it's probably not been given a massive budget; plus, it says the Android and iOS versions won't seem 'stripped-down' (though that seems to be feature-wise)...
