Prototype 2. Was cheap and I actually really enjoyed the first one.

Tennis In The Face Got this free from Amazon's appstore but would gladly have paid for it. Really fun little 'Angry Birds-esque' game with fun cartoony graphics and a silly story as well as some neat music, sound effects and animation. Really easy to grasp and fun to pick up for a few minutes here and there. Only has one level that I haven't fully completed.

Gutted nearly all the extras, like commentaries and stuff. And while not really a major thing, the actual film edit is based on another country's certificate rating (Australia, I think) so stuff like Coulson's death scene removes any blood and the blade never goes all the way through. And the name change was because we had a big show over here in the 60s and 70s called The Avengers (and there was a 90s film). The one thing they all share in common is that they are camp and terrible.

Just won an ebay auction for the US blu-ray version of The Avengers, because fuck Disney and their shitty European release (and unfortunate, required name change). And fuck the Amazon sellers still charging ridiculous prices!

But they're dogs. Cats are pussies.

I liked X3 in the same way I liked Spider-Man 3. Just the enjoy the goofyness and some cool action.

English vs. German? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejuK8_12Fmg American vs. French?

Cats won't let dogs past them (or more like, dogs are too afraid to attempt passing cats)

Well, yeah, you get to be a polite badass.

My friend having fun with christmas decorations (and his cat)

I don't think there are any mods you need, though I played with 'simple' combat because I just wanted to get through it (and it sucked, regardless). Problem I have is that I can't complete it because it crashes at the same bit every time, no matter what I do. Also, while I'm here, there was a new trailer from VGX but it didn't really show anything new besides some of the Wild Hunt designs and such. I think I'd rather not know so much about the game from now on.

Started The Wolf Among Us. Really love the art-style and the atmosphere, and I don't know much about Fables itself so it was fun being drawn into that world and not knowing what to expect. I guess I'm a sucker for detective/noir stuff with a slightly off-kilter feel (tried writing something like this myself years ago, except without fairytales as such and with a slightly different feel...also it sucked). Early on I was thinking, "Hey, this could be different to Walking Dead in that there'll be a chance for romance this time as well." And maybe it's just a better-concocted illusion of choice but it seems decisions could more of a difference compared to Walking Dead. EDIT: Oh, and I loved it at the end...

So, Empire really liked it.

Recieve? RECIEVE?! Order cancelled.

Person of Interest: Season One is now on UK Netflix. You have no excuse, people!

Well, what I meant was that I'm hoping they could bring him back and actually do something with him this time. He's a good character when he's used as a sort of inbetween with Professor X and Magneto, a more troubled character. Especially since First Class put those two front and centre. There's potential there. Or we could just have X-Men: Apocalypse vs. Wolverine...
-
Yeah, really wish they'd just done a hard reboot, like Batman and Spider-Man. I suppose I can hope Cyclops gets worked back into things somehow.

X-Men: Age of Apocalypse for 2016?

Well, yeah, I just linked that because it was easy to find. Seems to imply that Oscorp. is the franchise's villain-generator. Must be some other developments going on, and probably the Gwen Stacey thing, seeing as they also shifted Mary Jane from this film to the next.
-
Plus, I think they're just trying to set up some future stuff for the franchise. See here.

Spider-Man 3 was my favourite. I ain't even lyin'. Well, I'll clarify. It was an entertaining comedy...on two levels: intentional and unintentional. But really, I just never cared much for the other two. The new films have their problems, but I prefer what they're doing with the character, and the action's a lot better.
