  1. Interesting, didn't see this over the last couple pages here: http://tenthamendmentcenter.com/2012/02/28/ndaa-nullification-passes-virginia-senate-by-a-veto-proof-39-1-vote/ That controversial detainment clause in this year's NDAA caused the state of Virginia to pass a nullification, meaning they will refuse to assist or cooperate with federal government demands to detain citizens under the act. The nullification passed 39-1.
  2. Yeah, Yuri is fantastic on the drums. I hated Blink for the same reasons! Man, Wrecking Hotel Rooms is a great tune--never realized Mr. Mark worked with Mike on that one. Nice.
  3. Origin's not a deal breaker, but it does mean the game will probably be out of sight, out of mind for me.
  4. Bah, never been able to get into this series. I always skipped over the Gamecube versions, and the one Wii game I bought was total crap. Now the new one is skipping all my systems! Someday, SSX... you will be mine.
  5. Basically the same story here, Hot Heart. Loved them as a tweenager/teenager & learned bass to their tunes, still pick up every release and they seem to maintain a pretty good sound for the pop punk genre. At the least it's usually a lot less whiny than most comparable bands.
  6. I seem to have an extra Super Meat Boy key I obtained somewhere along the line. Let me know if you want it for FREE FREE FREE
  7. Megadeth show was boss. Unfortunately missed Motorhead & the other groups. I also still smell like pot

I haven't been to the Universal City Walk since the Marvel Cafe shut down about a decade ago. I was so disappointed, I haven't gone back. :(

I went for a friends 21st there a few years back, it surprised me how much fun I had there, so I went back to see tron in imax

  8. Playing lots of UT2004 (still not many straight deathmatch games that measure up to it); also hacking through Lego Pirates of the Caribbean that I bought "for my son"; started up with Terraria again; co-oping MW2 missions through also.
  9. I don't mind lower difficulty levels or Super-Guides like in the recent Mario/DK games, and I think Nintendo's implemented it well enough. As for skipping combat entirely or just letting someone play through the story in a game, I feel that if your game is built such that the story and gameplay are so out of sync that they can easily be separated, the design probably suffers from severe ludonarrative dissonance. Go watch the cutscenes on YouTube if you can't handle the combat.

Did you love that one character that came back out of nowhere and disappeared into nowhere in the same sentence?

    4. Faiblesse Des Sens

      Faiblesse Des Sens

I don't see how it's any more angering than the other books.

  11. Argg. Apparently the AMD FX chips have a major issue with Portal 2.

  14. Grabbed this for $5 for download on Amazon. Activates on Steam. US only it appears.
  15. So tesco gets free labor and you get a JSA check... do you get a JSA payment just while searching anyway, or do you have to be in one of these programs?
  16. So when they say "Wage=JSA+expenses", they mean they want you to work and only be paid unemployment checks?
  17. For its time, B&TB was incredible in that it furthered Disney's rise out of mediocrity. As far as current Disney musicals, there was Princess & the Frog a couple years back and Tangled a bit more recently. It is funny though to watch those older ones and note some of the corners they cut in animation, as great as the films were.
  18. 8-core PC almost finished. I am the 0.11%

  19. Dungeon Defenders is $3 for download on Amazon. US only it appears.
  20. Saw the Woman in Black. Not a bad horror flick, but it was still a pretty standard formula and a predictable plot.
  21. Built a new PC: Radeon 6870, octacore FX chip, 8GB ram, windows 7. About $400.
  22. Bought on Steam. Have purchased a few times before but couldn't find my discs.
