    Yeah unless first player is a huge deal for some reason or another, they tend to do something silly that fits in with the theme for determining who goes first. Kinda cute.

    There is a note saying it's designed primarily for tablets, but they did not restrict it by device. I am running it on my RAZR just fine. You'll just need to zoom in on the cards to read the text, but you need to do that anyway because of the 3D interface.

    I'm reading that you get a few decks and it locks you out of the higher levels of the campaign. I've only played a few matches so I'm not sure though.

    Thought it was well done, though the tone was different from the book version.

    I couldn't understand Jaime either. Had to turn it way up. That's what my tramp stamp says.

    Episode 5 "Kissed by Fire" was good. Definitely a step down from the intensity of last week's, but that's to be expected. It was more of a setup episode, moving all the pieces in place for the next big events. They are doing a very good job of trying to emphasize important plot points for what's coming up. Jaime/Brienne scene was probably the best, but Tyrion/Cersei/Tywin was awesome as was the execution of Rickard Karstark. And WTF--the dead babies in Stannis' wife's quarters? Crazy stuff.

    I believe the timeline matches up nicely, the period of time in the tower, and Ned's secrecy in spite of Catelyn's anger at him. He's honorable above all else.

    Yeah I think if that or something similar doesn't turn out to be true, much of the books' content becomes a massive red herring.

    Cowboy, they will probably skip over or streamline much of that. Next season will finish out ASOS (still exciting stuff), then season 5 will begin the ADWD material (since it's concurrent with AFFC), which was actually pretty eventful for the most part. So really they just need to spice up season 4 and the begnning of season 5's storyline a bit somehow.

      I didn't care much for IV. I think in the written version I had more personal criticism, but when some guy with a deep voice is reading the script I can't very well keep that stuff in there.

    I had a similar experience with The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. Such an odd film from a pacing perspective, but I love how they weren't afraid to take their time and develop the setting and characters in scenes that didn't necessarily drive the plot forward.

    I feel the show will handle that part of the timeline a little better from a pacing perspective than the books, seeing as the characters who wander around for 15 chapters can be fast-forwarded pretty effectively.

    I don't really Kickstart anything, but I'll be keeping an eye on this one as release approaches. Looks like lots of potential (never played the other game myself).

    I thought the first episode was very good. First episodes are usually pretty slow as they simply set things up for later.
