  1. PC gaming is dead because I don't want to have to tweak hundreds of files for three days before I can get a game to work. And because I like gamepads and PC's only have mouses. And because I don't want to game on a 19" CRT. Not to mention, as someone said before, that it costs no less than $5,000 for only a decent gaming PC, not to mention top-of-the-line which is 5 digits at least.
  2. I did a significant re-tooling to my team - added Joltik and Boldore in place of Munna and Darumaka, since my psychic/fire slot is taken up better by Victini. Much more balanced now. I only need a good grass or poison type now in place of Foongus, whom I don't really like all that much. If that Global Link goes online soon enough maybe I can grab that Leafeon; otherwise I'll have to find someone in-game. Team (all around level 33 except Samurott) Samurott Victini Scraggy Foongus Joltik Boldore
  3. Same here. Quite enjoyable, even if it had its issues.
  4. I played through New Vegas and I think Bioshock on a buddy's account. I let him play ME1 on mine. It's not so different from letting a friend borrow a disc for a console game, with the exception that you have to really trust the person a bit more.
  5. I don't either but I'm still on the mailing list. Or was before this afternoon.
  6. Can I complain about Gizmodo here too? http://m.gizmodo.com/5787574/why-photoshop-for-ipad-marks-the-end-of-the-desktop-computing-era If you guess the author from the URL I'll give you a cookie!
  7. How do you get Leafeon? I keep losing at level 2, but I'll play later and go for him because my grass types suck.
  8. Gotta say I like checking out everybody's videos. Cool to see other genres I wouldn't otherwise listen to
  9. I don't have my own screenie because I left my DS at home.
  10. Yeah I just read the article and saw your correction posted down there. I wonder if he'll even bother updating it.
  11. These statuses you guys post are more entertaining than my Facebook friends' posts by far.

I don't know about you, but I act just as silly in real life.

Agreed with Steakachu. There's no reason to hold back in real life if you're around people you can call your friends.

In other words, those people on Facebook aren't really your friends.

  12. My types just did not match up well, plus my team kinda sucks right now. I am finding it hard to let go of Pokemon that have the same type. Victini Samurott Darumaka EDIT: Scraggy Foongus Flying electric rat guy
  13. Celestial Tower was annoying as crap
  14. What about a chess set themed after a video game? Didn't consider that in your little analogy now didya?!
  15. Oddly, it's not quite like that. I mean, the movie is pretty terrible for a host of reasons, but it's not, erm, sexy enough to be a real 13 year old boy's fantasy. I mean, the movie seems to take place in worlds constructed to be the fantasies of 13 year old boys, but the film's perspective is a bit different. Well, one complaint I've heard is that it doesn't make sense. However, with that complaint I've heard advocates of the film saying, "It doesn't need to make sense since the girls are crazy!" Sure, you can have crazy people, but I don't think that would be an excuse for a poor story and/or writing. It makes sense. It's very straightforward though; there are very few plot twists, and the message of the film is delivered pretty hamfistedly.
  16. It's not "replayability" just games you've played 5 times or more. Oh, I tried to reverse-engineer what the question was by reading some of the answers. Like Jeopardy.
  17. Way behind & I'm not sure which day was which but - Gameplay - As far as racers, Diddy Kong Racing of course. Couple - Kyle Katarn & Jan Ors Sad - End of Fallout 3, end of HL2 Episode 2, the lack of Episode 3 Soundtrack - Chrono Trigger Replayability - The Half-Life series, I have played through the whole thing many times.
  18. This reads like a high school essay. http://ca.kotaku.com/5786329/the-pros-and-cons-of-early-3ds-ownership
  19. I quite enjoyed it. You are probably correct in everything you said, but I came in with extremely low expectations (my wife wanted to see it) and was entertained for most of the time. But yeah, it occupies a strange space, a movie that's not very intellectual but tries to be for intellectuals, yet at the same time a film for action junkies that doesn't quite fit the bill for a turn-your-mind off girls & 'splosions flick. The feigned complexity probably kills it for the action fans, whereas the over-the-top action makes it unwatchable for someone who wants to go see something with a deep plot (not that this has one). Definitely a box office bomb.
  20. Saw Limitless this weekend. The concept is interesting, if scientifically flawed; however, the movie does very little with it. I, a casual moviegoer, thought of more creative directions they could have gone with the premise (a pill that puts your brain on overdrive). That being said, the acting was OK and I suppose it was interesting enough to keep me watching the whole time.
  21. First one I bought myself was Five Iron Frenzy - All the Hype That Money Can Buy on CD.
