locked content? The only thing "locked" about SB that I'm aware of is the option to overclock, with the exception of the K series processors (the i5 2500K and the i7 2600K)

Dammit Chew. I'm reading this at 3 am and trying my damndest not to give a hearty lol that will undoubtedly awake the sleeping child I just got to sleep for the FOURTH FUCKING TIME. I haven't played Magic in years... what the shit is this planeswalker shit? Goddamn things are so convoluted compared to the days of old. And is Mana Burn still around? I didn't see it in your guide, unless I missed it.

yea, P67 is a type of Sandy Bridge motherboard. and if you got some money, I'd say go all out on a gtx 590 / 580, or a 6990 if you are into team red.

I got the Playstation app on my phone (emulated T-MO NL on my SIM), but I can't log in, log in through the app is basically a browser shell. App help states it can be used abroad, so I'm not sure if its just site problems or what; but I can access everything else in the app; Playstation news and playstation.blog (although obv its all Euro-centric) I wonder why there's nothing for SCEA yet.

@Metal: You'll need 2 sticks of RAM, the motherboard / ram is dual channel... as in two sticks. also; sandy bridge supports 6 gb/s sata, so why not go for a hard drive that will make use of that? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148727 @Enervation: ASUS or MSI P67 sandy bridge, core i5 2500K with third party cooler, gpu depends on your budget / price range.

as for the processor; I suggest the i5 2500K vs the 2600K. the 2600 has 2 MB more cache and Hyper Threading. If that is worth the extra $100 and you have the money to toss around, go ahead. Otherwise the 2500K should be sufficient, imo. ASUS is a good brand for motherboard, the deluxe shouldn't be a problem there. The thing I like the most about the Maximus, oddly, is the debug leds, but I don't think its worth the added cost. I think every motherboard should include those, imo. The MSI boards have been getting good reviews as well, so I don't think you are going to go wrong either way.

Actually Dean it wasn't. Since I always clear my cookies, cache and everything and check the website I can say that you could till today check view new content without being logged in. However that would show content from the past 48 hrs as opposed to new content since the last time you logged in.
I think that's just been changed now. But it was there at least 2 weeks ago when I checked.

Huh. I've always had the issue of not being able to access new content if you're not logged in. Used to be an issue in sharing links, but now I know of Active Content not an issue.

apparently those were an update from the other beta drivers. Went ahead and installed them, I'm guessing the game has a 60 fps cap? I'm hitting that pretty steadily now. That's more like it. I'll have to try some other games too, see if I run into any troubles that would make me want to roll back.

well, it came in, I'm using it now, and its beautiful. I'll have to try hooking a system up to it this weekend. and just to illustrate the size of my desk: I don't think I could fit much larger than a 23" on here I really need to get some newer speakers. These are ooooooold, but they still work pretty good.
