another good quote "TRON: Legacy may well satisfy the fanboys who have waited almost three decades for its appearance. Enjoy. Who knows, maybe one day if you wait long enough they'll make a "Super Mario Bros." sequel, too."
Ouch.
Glad to see a few other Sierra fanboys. I had the original King's Quest on PC Jr. I am a huge fan of the Quest for Glory games too. Space Quest was also great. You're right about them being brutal too. The first time I played Monkey Island I was thinking "dang I haven't died 10 times yet".

Probably the worst movie that I've seen that I think was actually taking itself seriously was "The Core". I think it's on Netflix so if you're into watching stinkburgers go for it. The ship they use is made of "unobtanium" which gave me a giggle because I thought, "well how then can you obtain it?" and when they said they were after unobtanium in Avatar I about spewed my coke. I guess that fake mineral has been around longer than these movies but I still think it sounds ridiculous.
Yeah, the guilty game that put my score in an off number is Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. I'd have to go back and beat one of the coop missions to fix my score and I can't stand that game anymore.
I'm pretty sure that Nick Cage is trying to replace Michael Caine as the guy who is in everything. Still got a ways to go. Nick's only been in 65 movies where Michael Caine has been in 152. I'm sure Cage will get there though.
I just think that a lot of open endings are cop outs. If you're gonna make a statement then make it. I loved the ending to LOTR: Return of the King and found the ending to The Deathly Hallows unsatisfying. I just like a little bit of exposition on the back end of a story.
Just hit 50K. w00t.
I think I'm starting to become less attached to it but it still influences me buying games. I think I'd never finish a lot of games if I wasn't boosting my gamerscore from playing them. Who else is an achievement whore here?
I'd be surprised if anyone here hasn't seen it by now, but it is required viewing, yes.
Really? Seems like nobody I know has seen it. I saw it at the theaters and was like 1 out of 10 people who did.
The Iron Giant is on Netflix. If you haven't seen it you should. It's directed by Brad Bird who later did The Incredibles and Ratatouille . Go watch it.
Apparently they've fixed the input lag on the controller a bit which sounds good. That drove me crazy in Killzone 2. Also, it'd be nice to carry more than one gun.
Yeah, it's tough to not lose all your equipment but on the other hand some games at least give a reason for why you lost all your equipment. Metroid Fusion was a good example of this.
