Right. Yes. It was a mess. Here's, for the tunnel-visioned, a simple recap of Halo's plot. Earth attacked. You go down to protect earth. You follow the ship's warp wake to a second Halo. Meanwhile, as the Arbiter. The Arbiter snuffs out a rebellion. It just so happens that this rebellion reveals the true nature of the Great Journey. That would be activating Halo and destroying everything. Suddenly, as Master Chief, You find the flood's hive mind, Gravemind. And he reveals to you and the Arbiter the true cause of the Great Journey and reveals that everyone is fucked. Then, as both characters, You fight the Brutes, Jackals, and Drones.....and the flood, and you end up telling the Brutes the true nature, and Tartarus picks pride over sense and tries to kill everyone. You stop Halo from exploding and find out there is a master control point for Halo and that it's on Earth. That's. SUPER HARD TO UNDERSTAND, I know. Don't worry. You're not dumb. REALLY. You're not.

When the Wild Wind Blows is a pretty fucking incredible epic released by Maiden. Maybe one of their top closers of all time. This is the jewel of that album, though: Excellent to sing to in the car.

Magic 2012 is coming out. So you could totally say it's around the 13th edition. Tenth edition came out, then they went to base set of M10 (Magic 2010) and M11 (Magic 2011) and are now going by that format of years, rather than listed numbers. So this is really the 13th you could argue.

A side note that deserves it's own post: Halo is great. I have nothing against it, but Halo 2 improved it in every way possible. First person mechanics that were broken were fixed. Online play. Wider variety of weapons. Better telling of it's story. A better story. Great plot hooks and turns. Great enemies. Great AI. Awesome Co-op that was improved greatly (YOU'RE JUST A PUSSY IF YOU DIED AND COMPLAINED THAT YOU HAD TO START OVER) putting in the skulls as a secret, hardcore way of doing things. Great easter eggs if you searched for them. Awesome cutscenes and cinematics. When it came out, it was probably the best looking console game in history. Great maps, great modes. Great everything. Story was told correctly (as opposed to the abomination of Halo 3's [Albeit Halo 3 had great cutscenes] storytelling that made no goddamn sense) and the plot switches were done very well. Improved vehicle control, improved everything. Who cares about the magnum? The Battle Rifle was better in every way possible. Halo 2 was easily one of the best console games ever made when it came out. That simple. Better than its predecessor and better than its successor and was the best Halo game out until Reach was released. That simple. End rant.

What the fuck? Warcraft III, the best fucking game in the history of video games is jointed with Super Smash Brothers fucking Brawl and that piece of shit Windwaker? What? Kingdom Hearts is above Warcraft III? No no no. Wait. Kingdom Hearts is even on this list? LISTEN HERE, BITCHWADS. I am gonna post stupid advice here that you'll have fun doing. FIRST, KNOW THAT THIS A MERFOLK DECK. These fuckers. SIXTY-THREE CARDS. 23 ISLANDS Sorceries/Instants/Enchantments: SPREADING SEAS x4 MANA LEAK X3 CANCEL X4 PREORDAIN x4 DISPERSE X2 LEYLINE OF ANTICIPATION X1 Planeswalkers: JACE BELEREN X3 or if you're a rich fucker. JACE, THE MIND SCULPTOR X3 CORALHELM COMMANDER X4 MERFOLK SPY X4 MERFOLK SOVEREIGN X4 MERFOLK SKYSCOUT X4 HALIMAR WAVEWATCH X3 Sideboard: Flashfreeze x4 Redirect x4 Into the Roil x2 THADA ADEL, ACQUISITOR X3 Negate x2 Wincon: Beatdown. Main cards: Coralhelm and Sovereign. Mind Sculptor (If you use him). Thada Adel (If you side her in due to abundant artifacts played by the opponent) and Spy there for Islandwalk through spreading seas or the chance they have an island. Sovereign there, not just to buff, but to give unblockable status. If that doesn't work, overpower with Jace (if you have the Mind Sculptor) along with the Coralhelm Commander and Skyscout. Halimar there for defense of larger creatures on the ground. Level 5 of Halimar is Islandwalk and goes from 0/6 to 6/6. Some matches can be incredibly delayed with this. Tips: Keep counters for mainly creature removals and board wipes. Watch for the Day of Judgement and Black Sun Zenith. Always keep a Cancel or Negate (if you side out for it) handy and save your mana for the board wipes. Switch to negates if necessary. Save hard counters (No extra pay required on the opponent's end) for board wipes. Mana leak is great early on, but is easily waved off (most of the time) in late game. Sideboarding: If player is overpowering with control spells and/or red spells, side out Mana Leak for Flashfreeze. Redirect: If there happens to be a ton of creature removal, Redirect is an excellent replacement for Mana Leak or Disperse. Simply Play Redirect and choose new creatures. In case you are playing a control direct, redirect a counter to counter redirect. If player is playing dominant equipment or artifacts (I.E. Lux Cannon or Ratchet bomb) side out two Cancels for Thada Adel if artifact counters are necessary. Negates also work to this advantage. Remember to always play the artifact you exile before the end of your turn. It's free. IF there is a ton of removal/board wipe, negate is also free and cheap for a hard counter. stalling is always a viable option for victory. if Spreading Seas is worthless due to islands and you don't appreciate the free card, you can always swap it out for the two Into the Roil and negate cards. It's a fun deck. Even though it sucks. Next deck for tomorrow: Knights.
