  1. Working on a logo for my friend's photography website. She asked for a vintage look, and I already had the concept ready to go in two hours. I am going to have so much fun with this...
  2. I just started playing again, recently, too. I don't know what the heck to do with my level 80 elementalist, I managed to get there by questing moreso than dungeoning. LittlePirate.1845
  3. I remember hating that it was PS3 exclusive because the trailers were great, so I'm pretty happy they're moving it to the PS4.This will be my first time playing this game, I went ahead and got myself a digital copy. I'm pretty excited to try it.
  4. Bioshock 2. Took me a while to get around the random crashes in game without having to lose the quality of graphics, but finally getting back in on this series. Pretty eager to get to Infinite .
  5. Rock Wyrm Used to draw dragons all the time. For some reason monsters/lizards has always been easier for me than people and fuzzy creatures. Originally had meant to design a sea monster but I drew the scales too rough, so abandoned my underwater color scheme and instead made it more earth-like.
  6. I usually don't paint on photoshop because it lags at times, but I went ahead and gave it a shot and started off with an easy technique. I took a 3D snapshot photo and then painted over it. Original Final:
  7. Finished the latest episode of Walking Dead Season 2, and just started up on Wolf Among Us. Got a little inspired to take a stab at the comic style.
  8. Stick of Truth. Played through as a thief. Gotta say this game kept me laughing through the whole plot.
  9. Look at these sales~♫ Isn't it neat? Wouldn't you think my library's complete? Wouldn't you think I'm the girl... The girl who bought... Everything? ♪ Look at this trove, treasures unsold... how much more burning can my wallet withold? Looking at the flash sales I think. Sure. I'll buy everything! ♫ They've got top sellers and indies a plenty. They've got Dark Souls and half of RE~4. Another Summer Trading Card #9? I got twenty. But who cares.....

  10. Supposed to be saving my money. HAHHHHHH HAHAHA. Sorry/not sorry wallet, it's Steam Summer Sale.

    1. TheRevanchist

      TheRevanchist

Then you can start saving for the winter sale once this is done!

  11. No one's posted about Luigi's Death Stare yet? It even made it onto Fox News (because they're so trendy).
  12. Still working on it, needs a lot of editing for the linework. Proportions are fucking hard. The waist is off, the knees look wonky, and fuuuuuuuck hands.
  13. Child of Light. Not that bad of a game, but I felt it was a little over-hyped. The art was absolutely gorgeous, the turn based style was fun. The story itself is something of a fairy tale, and the rhymes might be a hit or miss with some people. I enjoyed it. The downside is I found it to be unchallenging, short, and it won't have any replay value. I managed to unlock all the trophies, find all the treasures, and complete all the quests in one playthrough on hard mode and I didn't feel like it was a major accomplishment. Another downfall is the lack of character development. They pretty much just go, 'Hey, here's this new ally, and here's a very short intro to them. Neat, right? Okay enough of that, go back to exploring and progressing the storyline.' The main focus seems to be on Aurora alone, considering she's the protagonist I can understand that. But otherwise, the other characters didn't really leave that much of an impression on me where I felt they should have. I would say it's a game that'd be nice to have, but maybe wait until it goes on sale if you haven't bought it yet.
  14. Read up on some shading tutorials for Photoshop. Also learned how to use and make shapes for custom brushes. So I made a random t-shirt design. It's a large file so I added spoilers since the site runs slow at times. Starting image: Final image:
  15. So I had a thief going as my starter and I decided I wasn't quite getting the feel of it right. So I switched to a pyromancer. Roommate told me to try and kill the asylum demon on its first encounter to get some kind of sword. I didn't think my first boss kill was going to be repeatedly punching a blobby demon in the butthole over and over and over. And the jiggle animations are too accurate on this thing. Guh.
  16. My roommates both bought Dark Souls II and haven't left their rooms in three days. I sat and watched them play from time to time. They let me borrow their PS3 so I could play Dark Souls and see what it was all about. So far, I find it aggravating, but addictive. It's been a long time since I've played a game that didn't just tell me to press a button to do this particular attack to kill this enemy. You have to figure it out on your own--dying of course is aggravating, especially when I first started out. But after getting the hang of controls and just watching enemies to see what they do, I started to get the gyst of it. I've been playing for five hours straight...
  17. Path of Exile took a bit of getting into, it's a little slow getting going. Once I got into Act II some actual stragety was starting to be needed, it started to get fun.
