Well j That's it. I quit. I just can't keep up with these other artists. I'll never amount to anything. I just can't compete with these new guys coming and throwing all my years of practice out the window. By the way, I reported your DA account for indecent content, you're gonna have to fight to get your account back.

Is there an official PXOD server? It'd be nice to have an actual group to go back to.

Wow, thanks for the feedback, guys! It's nice to hear opinions and suggestions, it helps me improve. Sometimes when you go back on an old piece, you see new potential or a new idea for it--or in some cases, you just completely forget the intent of the original piece. That's why I think so many artists have piles upon piles of unfinished pieces. I'm still learning how to properly shade (and clothing has always been a rough spot for me, and hands--don't even get me started I'll just draw misshapen noodles). It's half of why I'm practicing shapes, it's a good start to learning how something works on a 3D scale rather than just flat picture. I found some good tutorials on proportioning body scales, too. It all takes practice. I'm nowhere near the skill level I want to be at, I'm constantly following artists and watching tutorials and reading up on techniques. I wish I had gotten some proper training at a younger age, it's really discouraging at times. I feel as though I don't have any potential to do anything professional with my drawings.. I know this thread isn't game-related, but I did used to idealize being a concept artist for gaming companies. So thanks for giving this thread the time of day, hopefully we get some more people in to throw in their skills and works.

Hotline Miami. Had this game sitting in my list and haven't given it a real playthrough save for an hour or so every now and then. The soundtrack is pretty sweet.

Read up on some tutorials on shapes and colors, and decided to touch up an old piece that I made at the start of this year. Practice is the best way to improve! One year better now

I've been so engrossed in Pokemon I've abandoned my village (save for Halloween to get the spooky/creepy item sets). When I went back to check on it, it was overrun with weeds, some of my fruit trees had died and left trails of rotten fruit. My character's hair had also gotten dirty and mangy. And two villagers have moved out in my absence. When I spoke to residents, they all assumed I had been kidnapped/having a feud with them and wasn't speaking. Town approval had dropped significantly. I am a failure as a mayor.

I was trying to make a Las Vegas girl Disney style... but instead I ended up making a Princess Chocolina.

I tend to be a procrastinator at times. I was reminded of the game so I went ahead and bought it. When you live alone, work for peanuts and pay for everything yourself you pinch every penny.

Only have a little over $100 to pay off my PS4... Soon... soon....

I rewarded my extra shift by treating myself to a steam game.

Random ten minute sketch, I normally avoid posting unfinished things or things I make in a matter of minutes. But this guy turned out kind of cool. Flying gremlin-thing. Trying to get back into drawing monsters.
