Does anyone think that Nintendo themselves didn't have any of this thought out at all but have only mentioned when games take place in the timeline due to fans constantly bringing this sort of thing up?

I'm of the belief that the cartoony look is what fits the story, characters, and world of the Zelda universe and comes closest to a proper 3D version of the original 2D styling.

Correction: Co-op can effect the SP game.

Perhaps they only worked on Portal 2 on the PS3 grudgingly. Also, Gabe may be the top man at Valve but he is not Valve as a whole. That's always one thing that people don't differentiate when quoting these sorts of people. They have their personal opinions (which of course can change what the company does) and they have their business decisions (which can be different than what their personal opinions would lead them to do.)

As stated in the video, co-op missions will take place in the same places that you'll be going to in singleplayer anyways. Like singleplayer, success in co-op will contribute to your singleplayer ending IF YOU WANT IT TO. They've repeatedly stressed that the co-op is entirely optional. Yes, and people like badbassman39 don't seem to understand this. I watched the same video. How come we are coming out with different understandings of it? I feel like they repeated everything in the video twice.

Didn't they sell like 70 million PSPs? Why do people think that this isn't a significant number again?

Hmmm... I don't know. I haven't gotten to that point. I don't remember it being a problem with past games. You can't buy new pickups? Or you just can't get anything good enough even after upgrades?

From my experience with GT5/past GTs... basically you just buy the necessary car that meets the requirements for each series and play through them so you experience a wide range of cars and races. You win tournaments to earn the money to do this. Though yeah, GT5 is very Japanese in the sense that it's insanely menu heavy. Also, if your car sucks compared to the rest of the event, then you weren't looking at the specs when you bought it! My knowledge of cars is only through racing games but I can still pick cars just fine. Also, try used cars, try saving up your money, try selling similar cars, etc. It's not that hard to earn money to buy what you need.

Where do you get that from? As far as I can tell, the MP option is exactly that, another option to reach the same goal.

I'd rather have a half-assed optional co-op than a full-fledged required co-op. I think you're getting upset over nothing. If it sucks, don't play the co-op.

Except that for everyone to survive they were the only option. That is not what they are implying here in any sense.

AC: B was buggier, with a worse story, half-assed mechanics and usage of them, some incredibly terrible character models, even more cookie-cutter combat than before (I'm really hoping Revelations actually has some sort of difficulty to the combat), and in general seemed to be about filler content (aka crossing off checklists) rather than stuff to do that was actually interesting. The game was made in a year and it shows. Also, not only was the "real world" ending "WTF" worthy it also made no sense once the story jumped to 1507. They really couldn't have figured out a better way to end it? I think that while a cliffhanger Desmond ending is expected... the Ezio ending was just plain bad.

Finally beat AC: B. Another "WTF" ending. I hope Revelations is better than Brotherhood. With a shorter dev cycle while adding new features (multiplayer) I felt the quality of the game really suffered.

Are you a fan of Mastodon to begin with? I haven't checked the entire album out but two of my friends said they thought it was their best album. They even went so far as to say it was one of the best metal albums ever. *snickers* Oh, Mastodon fans.

It's possible. Steam isn't an option for you? I can't imagine it requires anything too crazy in terms of specs.

Bastion is on PC so I don't think it's under the 1 year exclusivity agreement that some indie developers get into.
