The battleground seems to be screen size and OS. Atm I'm using a Nexus 5, which has a pretty good size display for what I want; both the Moto X and the Note 4 are bigger. Now I don't mind going larger, but seeing as they're both going to be bigger than ideal, I'm struggling to justify the Moto X; if I'm going to hobble myself with a larger display, I might as well go all the way and get the phone designed with that in mind. So the Note wins that one.. Then we have Motorola's cleaner version of Android versus the mess that is Touchwizz. I hear TW is much improved, but it's still a fairly awful skin-job. Motorola takes that one. Design wise? I honestly don't know. I'd take the Moto X in a heartbeat but I absolutely hate that new logo they've got going on, far too obvious; especially when compared to the previous model which had a much more subtle logo design. Is the new Moto X physically bigger? That matters far more than raw screen-size. Personally I want something smaller and more one-handable than my N5.

At least that actually goes on sale. I'm still waiting for ME3 DLC on PC to become cheap ;_;

It just seems absolutely crazy to me that people are shocked that a Sims game is going to end up nickel and diming them. Like really? Were they not there for the last 2 games?

Shit. I'm halfway through Authority. I like the change of pace. Much longer book but much less dense.

Why do people review this in terms of what it doesn't have? If you want those features play the other games. Enjoy the new features instead.

Finished Neuromancer for the first time. Great read. Most of it holds up. It's pretty awesome to see how influential it is, too.

Have they announced all of the content of the pass? With BF4 we knew it would be 5 packs at $15 each so the $50 "Premium" was worth it if you were in it for the long run. Either way I didn't even buy it until a few weeks after the first expansion came out. There's no need to buy it until content is actually ready. Also BF4 was nice and gave all of the unlocks retroactively.

I'm like 90% through Neuromancer. Fun read once you get used to the style.

I can't remember if my key is 8.1 or 8... it might be 8.1 so I'm of no help here, either. My experience with installing 8 on people's systems was to just use the OEM disk (which seriously meant having to call HP or whatever and act like the customer and have them send a USB stick) and it was up to them to get to 8.1. Though some of them just let you use a generic Win 8 install that auto-activated and everything as the key is in the BIOS.

Don't forget the fact that they also look like peanuts for extra confusion.

Why on earth would you use Windows 8 but not 8.1? 8.1 is basically a service pack and basically all of the changes are to make it better for M+KB users.
