    They could have easily done this and still followed the guidelines. They didn't even remotely attempt to do so however so it looks like an iPhone app from 2009.

    That app is designed terribly. I guess they aren't aware that Android has design guidelines these days. Hell that doesn't even match the iOS7 guidelines. I don't know what the fuck they were thinking with all of that web2.0 gloss and reflections. Functionality wise it looks okay. It's combining a few features that other things have into one app.

    I do the same. All documents has is game saves and shit that gets added automatically. Maybe I should sync it to Skydrive or something since that has 25GB free IIRC.

    It made no changes to the desktop as far as I'm aware. I quit using my desktop and have a partition I use for temporary stuff now though.

    Like anything involving Chelsea Wolfe it takes a few listens for it to really settle in as her voice invades your brain spirit. There's just something that's so mesmerizing about her that's so hard to explain even when she's on a track like this instead of with her band. She's so damn ethereal.

    In Windows 8 you could do side-by-side or dock one on the side where it only takes up 1/4th of the screen. This just expands the options. @TheFlyingGerbil: I've been running 8.1 for about 2 weeks on my desktop since my friend is a student who uses OSX. Can't tell you anything about the update process since I did a fresh install. There's no reason not to update though.     You have to keep in mind that Windows 8 is not a desktop OS. It's an all-in-one OS. They're going to show off features that are usable on tablets, all-in-ones, laptops, touchscreen laptops, and touchscreen monitors.

    Yeah but that Vita is also slimmer, has a replacable battery, and uses micro-USB. It's also hard to notice the differences in screens unless they're side by side. I don't see why Sony would remove PS4 features when they've announced they're adding features as they go.

    Console launches are never all of that great anyways IMO. Wait a year for the really good titles to come out and pick up the launch titles you missed on the cheap. And the console should have most of its features by then like all of the Gaikai stuff that won't work until 2014.

    I think my biggest problem with it just from that video it seems like it's... inefficient? It looks nice and all. The modern theme is pleasant on the eyes and everything is big and formatted for a TV but the number of steps for stuff just seemed to be a bit out of hand. IDK. I think I'd need to play around with it. One thing I didn't like about the 360 was that it can take so many steps to get to certain places and this sort of looks like the same.
