You mean you didn't already?

Wrong thread. I saw Upstream Color on Saturday night. Now that I've been able to re-align my brain I can say that it's a really great movie. At first I felt like I didn't want to see it again as it was so intense but now I kind of want to take a shot at it knowing everything and what to expect. Really, it's an experience unlike many (if any) other movies I've seen, the use of sound and several artistic techniques really make you feel and experience the movie in a way that makes total sense for the narrative. It never feels like it's being overly artsy, either. The director/writer/actor had to do things this way because it really seems like the only way to do even do the story. You won't walk away confused. You'll walked away with your brain hanging out of one of your ears. You're never talked down to. The things you aren't told aren't impossible to piece together. At the end you just... understand it, because you felt it. Your gut takes over in a way that's really unusual for movies.

Games You've Beat in 2013

Bioshock: Infinite. It was great. Might hop back in just to try and get a few more achievements as I still want more. -
Who the fuck says this? Bioshock 2 wasn't even made by the same studio. Looking at this thread again now that I've beat it.

You guys would make terrible cops if you just shot everyone.

Those bonuses weren't present in Deus Ex (there's no "ghost" ranking to achieve that gives you help in-game) yet you still knew about the option. So I mean really, it's just an issue for those not familiar with the series. Which is understandable as this drew in many new people.
-
I guess the confusion comes from people who have never played a Deux Ex game before this one.

Isn't there a no kill achievement? I'm not sure what you were confused about with it not making it clear. Why else would they give you both a lethal and non-lethal takedown?

I'm just pointing out that if this guy was located in Redmond it probably won't be an issue to find something in greater Seattle.

You make comments like this far too often not to be considered sexist. -
I don't see why hipsters are even mentioned. Stereotypically hipsters drink shitty beer.

Some of us are tired of killing people and it's very unrealistic.

Yeah the rumor is that the 3G is being phased out due to lack of interest. Though there are also rumors of a LTE version.... whatever. Rumors are exactly that.

Or he himself was just so fed up with what they were doing he just said fuck it and acted that sarcastically to show that he doesn't approve of it. Plus, what is the current market? I really doubt this guy will have issues finding a job in this area.

I thought he resigned.

This is okay if you prefer sticks. This is not at all okay if you're referring to using a controller and I will stab you.

Say that ten times fast.

God Superman sucks. They should do a Swamp Thing/Animal Man video game.

Well GRRM is taking on a million things at once and I do believe I've bitched about that before. -
In this case there's no legal way to otherwise obtain it at the moment and unlike music you're less likely to re-use the game (and thus buy it once there are level venues) and there's no equivalent of going to see the band live to support them in video games.

Room 237. I'm not sure if it was a documentary about The Shining or a documentary about people who obsess over The Shining. It's a way better film as the latter.

This seems like a game where people (not just women) would actually do that... so all jokes aside I actually can see how this would be relevant market research even if we're just talking screen watchers. Appeal to those that are playing and those that watch.
