  1. inFamous. Blast shards. 350 of the fecking things and no way to easily track them all down. I mean, they could have had them tagged on the map permanently when you manually sensed them so that if you're in a mission and can't stop to dick about getting shards you can just tag them and get them later. They could at least have made them detectable based on the mini-map radius rather than a sphere so that I could sail around at altitude and pick them off rather than having to cock-hole about at street level clicking the R3 button. I've got about 100 left to find. Collectibles should never total more than 100. Shard sense in inFamous 2 was a god send. I'd probably pay £1 for that power as an inFamous 1 DLC item.
  2. Quite. That said... sex, with your shoes on? Let's go with making out. It's more PG-13.
  3. Only if one of them is a dwarf, otherwise there would have to be knee prints, not foot prints.
  4. I picked that up the other day too. Nice little 2D platformer that makes me think of Mario Galaxy. Also been playing "Gravity Wars" basically it's Worms in Space. Both on Android.
  5. Holy toledo! That's pretty pricey. Looks rather swish though...
  6. Hehe. Seriously though, this looks pants. Why not just have human boxers boxing? Why must we have crappy CG robots?
  7. While we're on a roll with the last gen discussion. I think the "first to market" thing was vital for Xbox 360. PlayStation had such a massive following at the time that had PS3 got there first Xbox would have been very under-subscribed. Anecdotally, a lot of PS fans I know got an Xbox because they "couldn't wait" for the PS3, then when the PS3 dropped, Xbox had already established a community, it's a lot harder to leave friends (IRL or otherwise) than it is to leave a box, so they stayed with Live and the community there (though gradually most have migrated to PS3).
  8. Didn't realise you were in Sweden. This is true though. My CD's have all the music I like on them.
  9. Question is, are Nintendo the first to market with a new generation, or last to market with the current gen? I think it's the latter as they're pitching at the PS3/360 crowd.
  10. You really need to check out mflow. They've got a lot of what's on your list including 3 of 2 dan le sac albums...
  11. The issue with that is so much of it is going to be repetition, filler, or just boring. Very few games are fun to platinum outside of the need for completeness Like I say, it's just a bench mark. Some of it, like complete on easy / medium / hard has no bearing on content, just as collect all the (effing) blast shards on inFamous is pointless from a content perspective (though you could argue that it ensures that you've visited every corner of the world. With, for example Heavy Rain, it's a good way of knowing that you've seen everything there is to see.
  12. Please decipher this sentence. To be entirely truthful, the image above is commenter Trjn Rabbit's claim to fame. However, by association or some other mention or what have you, the blog site Press X or Die is happy to bask in its brief reflected glory.
  13. That's not really what most people in the UK would consider a roundabout. That's more of a gyratory system. "Roundabouts" would normally replace a traffic light junction and occupy the footprint of a small house, rather than being a couple of blocks wide. Something like this: For the ultimate in roundabout technology I present to you the "Magic" roundabout in Hemel Hempstead http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_Roundabout_(Hemel_Hempstead).
  14. Got this, so I can huddle. It's cheap as, but it's not like I'm doing science with it.
  15. The Android Market App has been updated. It's pretty...different. Though, to be honest it could be a little better optimised as it can chug a little. If anyone wants it, I've got the apk.
  16. I only point it out because squeaky Vanille was rather irritating. Serah spent most of the game being groomed by Snow in cutscenes or as a crystal, so didn't really have as much impact on me. Still, I'm hoping for a good game based on the fact that X-2 had the besterest combat system ever.
  17. Serah, not Vanille. The focus is on Lightning's sister Serah.
  18. I've started using mflow. It's a sort of mash up of twitter and spotify. You can join up here: http://beta.mflow.com/signup?invitecode=ONJ36F
  19. I wonder if he's upset because he was told that story by Crecente or someone else in confidence and Dean's publicised that Joel has broken that confidence? Either way, disappointed that Joel should choose to break contact when nothing in his email suggested it was in confidence. It wasn't a private email between private individuals, it was an email from someone in their capacity as a representative of Kotaku to someone in their capacity as a representative of the PXoD X-Talk/Kotakuites Steam Group. Sharing the message with the rest of that group should not only have been foreseen, but expected. If you want an email to be considered private and confidential, put it in the Subject line.
  20. Were I Dean, I would write back stating categorically that I did not make any threats against Crecente, a quick search through Dean's post history would show that he is consistently polite and level headed in his response and has never threatened violence against anyone. I'm just a cards on the table sort of person, I'd rather everything be in the open and on the record, rather than assume someone is reading this as a lurker. It's quite possible that someone created a deanbmmvv account or what have you and made these threats unbeknownst to anyone here. In the heat of the moment I can also understand Crecente misreading an alias and given the anonymous nature of Kotaku commenting it's quite possible that someone other than dean could have impersonated him and made these comments. If I had been in Crecente's shoes I would have banned the hell out of anyone who threatened my family too, even in jest. That said, I'd also have been man enough to tell them what I was doing and why and so would have discovered the mix up. Personally, I don't read Kotaku anymore. I mostly went there for the community, which is why I am here now. I mostly left because I didn't like the direction the Crecente was taking the blog (or the way he was doing it). I'd return to reading Kotaku and commenting there if someone as community focussed as this Joel fellow appears to be was actually in charge of the place, but, as it stands, I'll get my game news elsewhere.
  21. I think trophies are a good benchmark for how much of the content I've seen. Got a platinum? Then I've probably done most everything I want to do with the game.
  22. Can't beat a good old 3 pin, earthed, fused plug, pumping out 240v of Newcastle coal fired electricity. *cries a single tear*
  23. I loved "throw momma from the train" but have never seen strangers on a train. I'm familiar with Judge, just not familiar with this film beyond the vague plot synopsis of "People hate their bosses, plan to kill them, hilarity ensues (or rather a couple of resigned sighs ensue)."
  24. Went on a little spree... Also got a poxy free D&G bag with the Issey... wasn't sure whether to be pleased at the freebie or annoyed at the extra weight.
