@Bogie 2.0 I don't see what TFA doing well in China has to do with anything I said. I said TLJ is less action-driven and therefore is more difficult to translate across cultures. That does not apply to TFA. If anything I think the fact that TFA did well helps my point. I also don't see what Jumanji doing well has to do with anything. I've heard it's a good movie. TLJ has been out longer so you would expect it to be bringing in less in any particular week. If you want to compare box office like that you need to compare Jumanji to where TLJ was after the same amount of time since release.

Yeah, I'm with Cowboy on this one. Not that it necessarily happened in this case, but that in general being on different platforms doesn't prevent them from competing.

That's pretty cool. I can also see some hiking trails and stuff around here that aren't on the maps, as well as the highschool and college tracks and stuff like that.

The thing with China and Transformers is that mindless action movies (and also slapstick comedies) aren't very language-dependent, so they end up being very successful across a wide variety of cultures. TLJ wasn't exactly an art film, but it's heavily thematic and therefore relies more on the plot than the explosions to drive things, leading to more difficulty in audiences with different cultural backgrounds.

His attorney general said he thought the KKK were good people until he learned they smoked pot. He said the white nationalists in Charlotte were good people. He's had the Justice Department take the position that it's okay to fire people for being gay and transgender. He keeps appointing homophobic people to various posts (here's one example). And don't forget "grab 'em by the pussy". This is far from everything. (I know I didn't provide links to everything, but I did provide links for the things that weren't major news so you might not have heard of them.) 2) As I said, he lost the benefit of the doubt a long time ago.

Trump has proved time and again he is a bigot on every conceivable axis. He lost the benefit of the doubt long ago, regardless of the larger context. If he does something that appears bigoted then the reasonable assumption is that it is, unless there's strong evidence to the contrary. In this specific situation his stated reason (that it will decrease military readiness) is not backed up by the military's own research, so it screams pretext.

Blue Reflection I actually platted it, which isn't hard to do in one playthrough (I got all but 1 trophy naturally, and I did look that one up once I realized it was the only one I wasn't going to get on my own). I liked it, but it's nothing spectacular. Kind of a Baby's First Persona, with everything SUPER simplified but still kind of recognizable.

I tried that game on PC and just got so bored. It took way too long to do anything.
