@TheFlyingGerbil I mean, if the accessory will destroy the console...

That one doesn't shoot the darts with as much speed or accuracy.

It really isn't hard to open up the dock, and there are instructional videos on Youtube.

I bought a much smaller dock case (you have to open the original dock and move the circuit board over) and I really like it. I bought it for heat, since there were those reports of people's Switches getting warped by the stock dock, and because the stock dock was scratching people's screens, but it would also be much more portable. This isn't the exact one I bought (Amazon doesn't have it anymore), but it's very similar: https://smile.amazon.com/BASSTOP-Portable-Nintendo-Replacement-original/dp/B071YVC3NJ

I moved the 2018 posts to a new thread, including @Hot Heart's, so now he looks like a crazy person.

Yeah, I was fine with them because they were just a minor thing. If they'd been central like the ewoks they probably would have bothered me.

Sounds a lot like the Shadowrun setting.

My cousins and I have been playing a lot of Nerf wars at my aunt's house, so I decided to get my own gun so I didn't have to keep borrowing one from my cousin's 6-year-old son.

US Navy headquarters is at Norfolk, Virginia. I'm sure there are others as well.

That sucks. Nintendo really should have designed those things so they won't latch when put on wrong.

Welcome! Take a look around, kick off your shoes!

You mean on the console itself, or on the little snap on shoulder pieces? When I got mine the very first thing I did was put those on wrong and they got jammed. I was scared I wasn't going to be able to get them off again, had to look up video instructions.

@FLD At least yesterday it was down to $30 on Amazon.

Not until I know for sure how fanservicey it is...

Blue Reflection. I have no self control.

Yeah, even after hearing how good it was I was shocked by how good it was. Definitely the best Telltale game I've played.
-
Batman: The Telltale Series Holy shit, that was amazing. It really gives the feeling of all aspects of being Batman. I went to buy Season 2 immediately after finishing it, though now that I realize it's not done yet I'm hesitating.

7th Annual PXOD Secret Santa Thank Yous

You were a hard man to buy for. -
That quote would be promising if Atlus had a less terrible track record with LGBT characters.
-
I got some money, so decided I could allow myself one small purchase before January...

That's what tie in novels and stuff is for, it doesn't need to be in the main movies.

Reading this thread and how great everybody is always makes me so happy. -
I'm firmly in the "it doesn't matter" camp.

What's your Game of the Year for 2017?
TheMightyEthan replied to Mister Jack's topic in General Gaming Chat
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild There were a ton of great games this year (I have way too many runners up), but in the end it kinda had to be Zelda. I mean, I played it twice, and I never do that anymore, let alone in the same year. Everything about it is just so enjoyable, it really sucks you in, despite on paper sounding like something that would just be another Ubi-like. It's not without it's flaws (I wish there were more proper dungeons, I don't think the shrines fill that gap), but it's overall strength more than makes up for it. Runners Up: Dishonored: Death of the Outsider - I hope this isn't the end of the Dishonored franchise, but if it is it's a fitting send-off. Horizon: Zero Dawn - The setting's great, the take on the open world formula is great Human Resource Machine - My only complaint about this game is that I wish there was more of it. Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle - The 0%/50%/100% to-hit chances were a stroke of brilliance, you never feel like you're getting screwed by the RNG. Persona 5 - It's just so goddamned stylish, and fun. I actually came into this thread planning to name P5 as my GOTY. Prey - Talos I just feels like such an authentic place, I loved exploring it. Sonic Mania - They perfectly captured the feel of the Genesis Sonic games, both the good parts and the bad. Honorable Mention: Wolfenstein 2 - I'm generally fairly shooter-averse, so the fact that this is even on here should tell you how good it is.
