Not betting because I haven't watched the videos so I don't actually know how convincing the arguments in support of that position are, and I don't want to dedicate the time to educating myself. I was just saying what conclusions I had drawn based solely on the trailer and my background Zelda knowledge, and then clarifying one point that you seemed to have misunderstood. I could very very easily be wrong.

I was thinking it was /after/ Wind Waker, after the land has been drained again, not between Oot and WW. Bridges from TP could be there no matter the timeline because it's all the same Hyrule anyway.

Well, I mean, we launch our missiles and everyone on Earth is dying anyway, so it doesn't really matter a whole lot where any give missile heads...

Based on the fact that both Koroks and Ritos appear in BotW I'd assume that means it follows the Wind Waker timeline. I don't even have to do a bunch of super nerdy research to figure that out.

There's currently a flash sale on PSN (at least in the US, don't know about elsewhere) with shitloads of games for under $5.

Can't speak for New York in particular, but that definitely does not seem normal. Unless is it like an airport with metal detectors or something that she set off?

It seemed to me like you come from a stone-age-type tribe, but due to whatever the instigating event is you have to go off adventuring and it takes you to places where the people are more advanced, and that's where the Mad Max-y stuff comes in.

Yeah, I wanted a new "real" 3D Mario game (3D World, while awesome, felt more in the family of the 2D Marios than the M64/Sunshine/Galaxy ones), but that real world area is just... eugh.

No, the Legends aren't canon. EU is a general, non-Star-Wars-specific term for all the canon stuff not in the main series of whatever it is.

Yeah, it's fine to include little nods to the EU stuff that people who watch it will get, but it needs to be done in a way that doesn't detract from the movie for the large portion of the audience that has only watched the movies. Saw Gerrera was handled badly. Like GOH I just thought it was awkwardness due to the production problems the movie had until you guys said he was from the cartoons.

Where are you getting that it's as powerful as PS4/Xbone? The stuff I'm seeing puts it at only slightly more powerful than a Wii U, no matter what mode it's in.

Yeah, all that dark matter/dark energy foreshadowing was supposed to be related to why the reapers were coming, and they dropped it all when they fired the lead writer. Sucks too, because that was way more interesting than the whole "synthetics/organics can't possibly coexist" thing.
