Fucking seller cancelled my goddamn fucking orders. *Edit - I reordered The Last Guardian for $8 more but fuck it, I want it, and it's fulfilled by Amazon so I'll have it Thursday and not get jerked around. The cheapest copies of Horizon are $58 now though so fuck that, I'll wait. The thing that pisses me off the most is that if the seller cancels your order you can't leave feedback, so I can't even give the fuckers a 1-star rating.

Can't remember where I read it, but I heard the animation described as "like some animator's pet project that the team didn't have the heart to cut".
-
I thought they said they made it better, because they knew people hated it in ME2? The fucking liars!

I wouldn't be waiting if it weren't for my game about Japanese teenagers.
-
Wait, seriously? What the fuck?

To me the thing that makes something truly "magic", and not a natural phenomenon, is that it cannot be understood using the scientific method. If it behaves according to rules, and you can experiment with it and determine it's properties, then it's not magic, regardless of the terminology used to describe it; it's just an aspect of the uni/multiverse we don't yet understand. I have seen nothing in the MCU, including Dr. Strange, to indicate that anything in it is magic in that sense.

Sonic Chronicles isn't a Bioware RPG. [emoji14]

Fun fact: the Articles of Confederation required unanimity to amend, so when there were problems instead of changing them the instead drafted the Constitution and put in it that it would go into effect once 2/3 of the states ratified it, rather than requiring unanimity. Most states ratified it quickly, but Rhode Island held out, so the remaining states occupied them until they ratified it too.

Eurogamer's tl;dr: "The combat crackles and the worlds are lush, but mediocre writing and tepid quests add up to what is probably BioWare's worst RPG yet."
-
It's not "magic", it's "energy from other dimensions." I imagine the scientific characters will be dismissive until it's demonstrated, then want to understand how it works from a scientific perspective.

I just beat the game and didn't even know you could find different saddles...

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. 59 hours of amazing. I wish the framerate was better, I feel like they could have left out some of the ambient occlusion and other visual bells and whistles to get it more stable. But other than that, it was fantastic.

Are you seriously 125 hours in? Jesus, I just finished it and only had like 60...

It always drops in villages, but luckily that doesn't impact play because you're never in combat in a village. It does frequently drop in bad weather, but not badly enough in my experience to hinder play. I mean, it's bad, and there's no excuse for it, but the game is good enough otherwise that it more than makes up for it.

My games still don't show as shipped, even though I ordered them first thing yesterday morning. Hopefully the seller has shipped them and just not marked it on the site, and they'll arrive Monday...

The Last Guardian. Found a new copy on Amazon for $27 with shipping (it's a 3rd party seller) and that's probably the cheapest it's going to be for a while so I bit. This will fit in between Zelda and Persona much more nicely than Mass Effect will. *Edit - And Horizon Zero Dawn, $40 brand new. I'm definitely not getting Mass Effect...

I played for about 3 hours last night and would echo Goh's comments. It's basically Dragon Age: Inquisition, but Mass Effect, which is what I was expecting. It's also cemented my opinion that John Walker is a grumpy grump, whose descriptions, though based in fact, are so absurdly hyperbolic that they're useless as far as helping others decide whether they'll want the game. That said, I still think I might cancel my preorder because I just don't have the time between Zelda and Persona. Plus I'm finding that I don't go back to games like I used to, so I waiting for a GOTY edition with all the DLC seems smart.
-
Yeah, John Walker tends to be overly harsh in my opinion. Though I have seen enough negative coverage elsewhere that I decided to get Origin Access for the month and try out the trial. Depending on how that goes I may or may not be cancelling my preorder.
-
The Wii U's had screenshot functionality this whole time?!
-
Well yeah, if I were more sure it'd be great then I'd be looking at cancelling P5 instead.
-
Yeah, I've never heard of them either and I'm skeptical.
-
Do you not have Prime? I've never not gotten a game on release date from Amazon.
-
I'm actually considering cancelling my Andromeda preorder, since I don't think I'll be done with Zelda by then and I was already iffy on whether I'd be able to finish Andromeda before Persona 5 came out...

22 hours in and I just beat my first real dungeon.
