Fuck you, 3D all the way.
-
I understand that, I'm just explaining that in the US at least it does give a reasonable idea. I agree that it's dumb to use an American holiday for an international trailer.
-
Ah. In the US Memorial Day and Labor Day are kind of big holidays, marking the unofficial beginning and end of summer, respectively, so people do lots of cookouts and stuff, almost everyone's off work, etc. I couldn't tell you the exact date Memorial Day is on next year, but it definitely gives me a rough idea of when the movie is coming out (end of May) and there's no way to miss that it's Memorial Day Weekend once it actually arrives.

If we had a theater with assigned seating I might consider going on Thursday, but as is I don't want to have to fight with people to get seats.
-
Saturday at 5:00. Trying to find that sweet spot between all the kids who will surely be at the matinee, and then most adults who are going to want to go to an evening show.

So now they're selling level boost packs to get your character to level 25... for £25. That's just... wow... http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-12-15-destiny-launches-level-boost-packs-priced-25 I can't find the packs on the US store, apparently they're EU only atm.

You mean like Easter, which is the first Sunday after the first full moon on or after March 21? We Americans are so ridiculous with our complicated "last Monday of May".
-
Well that site obviously wasn't designed to run on phones...
-
Oh, I see what you mean, yeah IIRC I had a lot of trouble finding the right beacons for that quest too.
-
As long as you're in an area that's appropriately leveled for you the only patrols that should be difficult are the ones to clear an area of taken, because the boss for those is level 40.
-
Yeah, you've made a huge mistake.
-
And since it's so little data you don't need a constant solid connection, the text can go through any time there's a connection for a very short period of time, even though a call or data connection would be dropped.

The prevailing theory about Leia remembering her mother (cause remember she says it's only vague impressions) is that it's actually force visions or something from when she was very very young, or conceivably while they were still in the womb, because Leia is force sensitive too.
-
That's kind of how it works though. From like 30-50 people hardly change at all, and then suddenly start aging again.

It's just... not as good. Life Is Strange is better. Not just the consequences, but overall. Writing, characters, puzzles, etc. Which is not to say the Telltale games are bad, Life Is Strange is just better. *Edit - I would say since you like GoT and you liked LIS then you should try TT Game of Thrones. Worst case scenario you're out $5.
-
When you say you don't know how they could do worse, do you mean Life is Strange did it terribly? Because I had gathered it was only the very end that you didn't like.

According to Wikipedia, the least densely populated district of England (which I know is not synonymous with the UK) is 25 people per square kilometer. Wales' least densely populated principal area is 26 people per square kilometer. The average density of Kansas (meaning many areas are much lower*) 13.5 people per square kilometer, just over half the least densely populated area of England and Wales. It may not seem very dense to you, but even your sparsely populated areas are way densely populated compared to where I live. *The lowest density county in Kansas that I found is Greeley county with 0.6 people per square kilometer. Where I live it's 12 per square kilometer.
-
If you've liked any of Telltale's previous games, and if you like Game of Thrones, then yes, definitely yes, right this second. Otherwise no.
-
That seems so weird to me, given how densely populated the UK is. Even around here it seems like the only time I can't get service is if I'm underground or in a building built like a faraday cage that's miles from the nearest town.
-
Well otherwise it would get confusing with bangers and mash.
-
I don't think "good" is the right word. It looks like it could conceivably be entertaining.
-
Next year. Probably November-ish.
-
Not a problem at all. The games are almost completely independent other than sharing the same world.

You don't have to sift the flour, just fluff it. You can do that while scooping it out of the bag. It's really not difficult. Pretty much all US recipes use volume for everything. Also, do you guys not have standardized tablespoons?
-
I'm not sure what you mean by "they use different measures". A wet cup and a dry cup are still the same volume, it doesn't cause any issues. With flour specifically you're always supposed to measure it fluffed.
