I'm having the same "can't recruit Preston" issue, also due to him wanting me to clear the castle. It's not a huge deal because I'm sticking with Dogmeat, I just would like to be able to get Preston's special perk.

People are getting doxxed over the Hunger Games?
-
lol, I know it's not the original, I just think of HR as a reboot kind of, and when you said "original" I took it to mean "first of this new reboot series" for some reason. Invisible War 4 lyfe!
-
Oh, by "original" I was thinking Human Revolution.
-
I don't remember what happened with the original...
-
I should be. I keep seeing a commercial for it where he's talking to the old lady. "Well now the tables are turned" cracks me the fuck up every time.
-
If that's the case then I hope the delay is just to put a little bit more time between the attacks and the release, and not to actually make any major changes to the game itself.
-
Welp, now I don't have to worry about picking between that and Far Cry Primal anymore.
-
Actually, now that you say that, I have heard "duty roster" in a military context, but that's the only context where I've heard it used like rota. Roster by itself definitely doesn't mean that though.
-
For you PC players, it's a mod that replaces the conversation wheel with a numbered list that also has the full text of what exactly your character will say, instead of an abbreviation: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1235/?
-
Yeah, a roster is a list of the people who belong to a specific group. So like sports teams have a roster.
-
Yeah, cleaning schedule, cleaning chart, chore schedule, chore chart, something like that. I didn't mean that we couldn't describe it, just we don't have a specific name for it.
-
ro·ta ˈrōdə/ noun noun: rota; plural noun: rotas; noun: Rota; noun: the Rota 1. BRITISH a list showing when each of a number of people has to do a particular job. We don't have any specific word for that.
-
Normal. It seems about right, but I tend to prefer RPGs to be easy because I don't play them for the combat.
-
I'm pretty sure they actually use up the ammo you give them, so you have to make sure they have enough.
-
I was looking at the Alienware PCs after reading that article and the GPU thing sent up red flags for me too. Though oddly when I look they all say they're running Windows 10 Home.
-
Huh, I just did the Confidence Man quest with no issues. On PS4. *Edit - you have to give them ammo at least for certain weapons (fat man, missile launcher, etc) but I don't know if that applies to standard guns like 10mms.
-
I'm not far enough yet.
-
Surprise surprise.
-
Yeah, I was looking forward to Tomb Raider, but not as much as Fallout 4.
-
PS4 version isn't coming until next year (probably next fall). PC is less clear, but I would imagine the same.
-
Yeah, the lack of compass indicators is annoying as hell. I would imagine that would be easy to mod in though, have a range based on your perception skill and how sneaky they're being.

The only real bug I've had was Diamond City Radio going silent on me once, but a quick Google revealed the solution is simply to wait or sleep for 24 hours and it comes back.
-
They didn't need a button for wait, they have the pip boy, they could have put as many extra features in that as they wanted.
