Nah, if it were just the other releases then they would have only moved it a few weeks, not 3 months. I'm sad that it's later, but I'm happy that now I only have to decide between Far Cry: Primal and Deus Ex, and not those games plus Mirror's Edge (Mirror's Edge would have won).

I, too, would be interested in people's thoughts on the DLC. I'm interested in playing more of this game, but the $45 to get all three makes me hesitate.

Halo 5. Gameplay wise it's really good, a massive improvement over Halo 4. Story wise it's not so good. The actual events are fine, I like where it takes the state of the universe, but the way it's presented has no tension, so it's not compelling as it unfolds. I might make a more detailed and spoiler filled post later when I'm not on my phone.

I can't resist bringing this back up: Sony just announced that PS4 has sold 29.3 million units. After the same amount of time on sale the PS2 had sold 24.99 million, the PS3 16.6 million, the 360 13.4 million, and the Wii 34.55 million. So the PS4 is midway between the PS2 and the Wii for sales at this point in their lives. Yep, the industry is TOTALLY in a death spiral...

I really liked a show on Fox last year called Almost Human that was similar as well, but Fox cancelled it because they always cancel any good sci-fi show they have.

I don't feel like Ubi painted themselves into a corner so much as failed to capitalize on where they'd gone. You had the whole Desmond dying, Juno being released into the world, and then just... nothing happens. Everything's still the same. It's weird.

I actually would have preferred they stick with 30 fps and not made the visual compromises. Halo has always been 30 fps and has always felt great, so there's no reason they needed to up it. I don't feel strongly about that though, and the increased temporal resolution is nice.

Saw some gameplay stuff and some of the new additions look fun, but will probably never get an Xbone (or PC release) so I don't care. "Better than Halo 4" doesn't say much either. =p

I mean, I see tons of ads for the game, but we're also talking about a Halo game after like, what, 8 other Halo games. 1-4, ODST, Reach, Halo Wars, and that mobile game.
