    Started The Martian last night, got 20% of the way through it. I'm liking it a lot so far, but it's definitely a nerd book for nerds.

    The Speaker will turn Shards into Energy and vice-versa for 50 glimmer (IIRC, I could be wrong about the price, but I know he does it). Problem is, even after transforming my stuff I still need more energy.

    So, um, how do you get ascendant mats now? I've still got some legendaries that need them. I used to get them through public events, but they don't drop them anymore.

    In other news, I have contracted with the Amazon wizards and they have sent the book automagically to my Kindle, ready for my enjoyment when I get home.

    Ah, I do not have a Gjallahorn. The only exotic rocket launcher I have is Truth, which IIRC is void damage if that's relevant. It is ascended though.

    You forget that Stannis had the option of retreating, which his Hand advised him to do. It was only his own lust for power and stubbornness that caused him to insist on remaining and pressing forward.

    I don't know how many people are going to buy Oculus, Vive, or Morpheus, but plenty of people are interested in them.

    What does that have to do with anything? I'm also interested in Mirror's Edge 2, but I don't have a copy of that because it's not out yet, just like the VR headsets (the dev version of the Rift doesn't count, because 1) it's a dev version and 2) the specs are lower than what the consumer version will be).

    It's been known it's at least a prequel since its original announcement. What I'm predicting is that even beyond being a prequel, it's actually a reboot.
