Well it is a game-engine trailer. I'd guess they just didn't expect people to notice because of the speed of the shot and the obscuring objects (never underestimate the internet).

I don't think I've had any major parts fail except when it's my fault. Usually I just haven't connected something right, though I have had the occasional bad stick of RAM, a couple of hard drives die (always with enough warning for me to back them up, thank god) and I could never get the front USB ports on my old case to work. But again, it's almost always that I've done something wrong (that or a software problem) and can easily rectify it once I figure out what it is. I remember the first time I got a video card that actually required separate plugs from the power supply. I didn't realize that, so when I tried to boot it it made this continuous horrible high pitched scream. That was really stressful until I figured out what the problem was.

In my experience something always goes wrong when you build a new computer, so it's good when it's obvious like this. If everything appears to work it just means something's broken but isn't being up-front about it.

I use a cartridge razor, but instead of switching out the blades whenever it is the manufacturer recommends I just switch out the blades when they stop working. Which is a long, long time.

Idk, I'd consider myself a BttF fan but I just could not put up with that shit, it was awful. JP was really bad, but was more bearable for me.

Yeah, I don't understand why people buy stuff that's maybe 20% cheaper but you have to replace 5 times as often. That is just not good money management.

I saw the Avengers and it was good, but it wasn't super amazing like everyone else seems to think. I don't regret seeing it, but I still have no desire to see it again. I think to some extent it was a victim of its own hype for me. One thing I was wondering the whole time:

It will probably be announced at the end of the show, after they've spent the whole thing focusing on the 360. Might announce it for Holiday 2013, but I doubt they'll be even that specific. GTA V to release in October 2012. @Strangelove: they already confirmed third party characters for PS Smash Bros last week on GTTV.

I played through the Jurassic Park game which was not very good, and then part of the Back to the Future one which was terrible, so I'm quite skeptical of your claim that this one is really good.

Yeah, I think the best you can do in a bad economy is convince people that it's slowly getting better, cause they can just constantly think "okay, so even though it's bad here now, it will be better in a couple months" regardless of whether that ever actually pans out.
