  1. No, it's all black. Look at the original reveal image: Now look at the new picture: In the new one you can see down below the touchpad, where the white ended on the original, and you can also see the sticks, which were black on the original, and see that it's all the same color. It's definitely black.
  2. Since it's supposed to be about launch games hopefully they'll announce if Ghost of Tsushima is getting a PS5 version. Also, I notice that picture of the DS5 is all black.
  3. That sounds absolutely exhausting, both in length and content.
  4. Ooh yeah, I want to jump on this bandwagon (not necessarily the specifics, but definitely the multiple models of varying powers).
  5. You're either a lunatic or a genius. I actually do wish though that Sony and MS would follow Nintendo's path and make their consoles portable hybrids.
  6. Well either way, that's what I expect to see them from them in this window.
  7. This is going to be harder than most years, because we're not actually getting an E3, and the streaming events that are replacing it are all through June and into July. Here's the schedule we know so far: IGN's Summer of Gaming - Throughout June Media Indie Exchange's Guerrilla Collective - June 6-8 EA Play - June 11 Ubisoft Forward - July 12 Microsoft's Inside Xbox 20/20 - July Sony is also widely rumored to be doing a PS5 event in early June, and Nintendo is expected to do a Direct, although there's no known date for that. So, with all of that said, here are my predictions: Microsoft Clearly there's going to be information about the Xbox SEX, but specifically I'm expecting a release date announcement, probably for mid to late November. Halo Infinite as a launch game (again, obviously), and a bunch of gameplay from that, as well as from some big third party titles. Maybe something like Assassin's Creed Valhalla running on SEX, or Cyberpunk. Then a montage trailer with short clips of a bunch of different games. Sony Again, PS5 news is obvious, I'm expecting a release date also in mid to late November, either one week before or after Xbox. Announcements of PS5 versions of Ghost of Tsushima and TLoU2 (not just back compatibility for those games). Announcement of whatever their back compatibility program is, probably it will run PS4 games, but I'm not expecting anything as involved as Microsoft's smart download system or whatever they're calling it, just straight bc, possibly with performance/resolution enhancements over PS4 Pro like what Pro does with base PS4. We'll also see at least one 1st party launch title that we haven't heard about yet. They'll show some big third party game on PS5, possibly Valhalla or Cyberpunk, whichever MS doesn't have. Nintendo Animal Crossing. BotW2. Other insane shit no one can predict. EA Some info on the next Dragon Age, but it won't be coming this year. Lots of Apex. Remastered Mass Effect trilogy. Ubisoft Valhalla, obviously. More about Watch Dogs Legion, which won't be coming out this year. And I'm throwing out a hail Mary for a new Splinter Cell. What's everybody else think/expect?
  8. If, hypothetically, someone had never played a Yakuza game before, but were kind of interested in trying them, what game should they start with would you say?
  9. Beat Control's first expansion, the Foundation. It was a nice follow-up to the base game, and took me about 5.5 hours to beat so not a bad chunk of content. Looking forward to the next one.
  10. Oh yeah, that too. I think Civilization does it perfectly, with "I am new to Civ", "I am new to this version of Civ" and "No Tutorials" options.
  11. I just realized that now fully 20% of my platinums are Persona games...
  12. Games in general, but especially games that release DLC months after their original release, really need a "how tf do I play this game again?" menu option.
  13. Tackling the Control Foundation DLC. I really really do not remember how to play this game...
  14. Personal 5 Royal Oh man, it was so good. They made so many quality of life changes to the base game that just make it so much nicer to play. The pacing is slightly weird around what would have been the end of the base game, where the third semester starts, because the setup to that point is pretty much the same as in the original, but after a few in-game days it catches its stride and gets the flow back. 5/5 I do wish it had been sold as DLC for the base game though, in addition to being sold as its own thing.
  15. Ooh, that was a good game. I wish there had been a sequel.

Let's all play Fallout 76 together. It's not that bad!!!!!

  17. That's just... I don't even know.
  18. Oh my god I haven't listened to Static-X in forever, I completely forgot about them...
  19. Yeah, the coupon said it's only for games over $14.99, so I just loaded the DLC in the cart to try, and it applied, so I bought it. I'd had a previous $10 coupon with the exact same description a couple months ago though that wouldn't let me use it on the season pass, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  20. Got a $10 Epic coupon for redeeming the free GTA, which I promptly used on the Control season pass.
  21. I haven't quite platinumed it yet, but I agree that's the impression I get from the trophies.
