Yeah, everything I've seen does make it clear you're playing in Midgar, but unless you're already super well-versed in FF7 that doesn't really mean anything.

I was vaguely aware from years ago that it was supposed to be episodic, but then when this one was just marketed as FF7R, without "episode 1", and with a full $60 price tag, I thought they had abandoned that plan.

Is anyone actively playing any online games? I am starving for social interaction and would kill for some voice chat. I'll even buy the Destiny expansions if that's what it takes.

Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 Deluxe was on sale on the Switch eShop for $20, which is by far the cheapest I've seen it on Switch, whether physical or digital. It'll be a good just pick up and play game I think.

Persona 5 Royal I'm not very far into it, but I'm super glad I already platinumed vanilla P5, because with all the quality of life improvements this game makes I don't know that I could go back. It fucking rocks.

Yeah, the DS4 battery life isn't great. The mics aren't a deal breaker for me, just something that makes me go ?. Same with the color, it's not what I would pick, but I'm not going to refuse to buy a PS5 just because of that, even if I would prefer all-black.

At least it's not your actual officials. Or, you know, the head of your government doing that... But yeah, I'm with you, if he dies it's his own damn fault, I only care because of the destabilizing effects it could have. Oh man, Mario Rabbids is great. There were rumors like a year ago that they were making a sequel, and I'm quite disappointed that we haven't heard more.

I'm constantly amazed by how good the graphics in Animal Crossing are. Like obviously they're stylized as hell, but there's something about the materials that just looks fantastic.
