Yeah, I've been on a backlog binge for the last couple months, and have gotten it down to 2 games (3 now) which is low enough for me start buying again, apparently.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey I know I shouldn't be buying games this close to Christmas, but it was $35 on GMG and I couldn't resist.

I've been wanting to watch that, so I'm glad to hear it's good.

Yes, it can run the games at 4k and then downsample them to 1080p, so they still look a lot better than on a regular PS4.

That's so stupid on two different levels. First, that once every six months would be quite "regularly", as in there would be a regular interval between shootings. Second, it happens much more often than that...

I keep seeing people saying this kind of thing (about other games too, like the Fallout 76 beta), but isn't that only a few hours' worth of download? Like sure it's not right at launch, but it hardly takes up the full 4 days. *Edit - Semi-related, the last time I preloaded a game on Steam it took longer to decrypt the preload files than it would have to just wait until launch and download the regular files.

I love it so much except all the times I hate it with a fiery passion. Those times don't manage to marr the amazing times though.

Yeah, the problem lots of people have been reporting, about accidentally threatening people when you try to talk to them, is one of the few complaints I haven't encountered, since from the start I've made it a practice to holster my gun unless I actually need it. It does annoy me that with long guns if you "holster" it you'll actually just hold it down in your left hand, not strap it to your back, unless you do another action that requires both hands, but it's just an aesthetic annoyance and not an actual mechanical problem.

I haven't been able to figure out how to manually saved, so if I turned off autosave I would be playing a permadeath mode...
