  1. How Long to Beat says 19 hours average for main story only, 35 for main+side content, and 65 for completionist. So sounds like it's shorter than 0.
  2. Hmm, guess I won't be getting this one then, because that was the problem I had with the other Metros, so if this one's even worse...
  3. @FLD You are my nemesis. I can never beat you no matter how well I do. 8 goddamned points!
  4. Hitman 2 I just finished the tutorial (which is the same tutorial from Hitman 1, but I replayed it to refresh myself) and am 100% totally stoked to get into the game itself. Shoutout to @Mr. GOH! for getting it for me!
  5. That Link's Awakening remake looks gorgeous, but I won't lie, I'm a little disappointed it's not ALttP.
  6. I turned mine off (there's a setting for it) because it's the stupidest thing ever. Sometimes I want to play games when other people are sleeping, and even when they're not I don't want other people in the house to have to hear my game audio. Even stupider is how some games will only output certain audio to the controller speaker. For instance there's no way to hear the audiologs in Killzone Shadowfall except through the controller's speaker, which means if you're playing with headphones you just don't get to hear them at all.
  7. I leave mine at 100%, but I've also made a custom cooling profile in my BIOS so the fan hits 100% speed at lower temperatures, which has helped keep it cooler.
  8. Assassin's Creed Odyssey Well, I was quite enjoying it until the end, which is ridiculously anticlimactic and just made the whole game feel like it fell flat. The end was so much not an ending that I didn't even realize it was the end until the achievement popped. Like, seriously, I felt like I was getting kind of close to the end, and that this was just a little lull before the final climax. Your game should not end on what feels like a lull... *Edit - I mean Jesus, it was just bad...
  9. Guess that answers my question about whether the game would be playable on PC with a controller or whether I'd be at too much of a disadvantage. ?
  10. Huh, yeah, I'd never really thought about it, but it is weird that more games don't do that.
  11. I loved that game. One of the few that I dove straight back in for a NG+ immediately after finishing the first run.
  12. Oh, hmm... PS4 would be where I'd rather play anyway since I have a Pro but do not have an X. I may have to try it.
  13. I'm kind of interested in that, but I like to play with a controller, and I don't have a multiplayer sub on either console, and I'm nervous about how well I'd be able to do with a controller on PC, so...
  14. @Mal Yeah, I debated just getting a bluetooth adapter instead of the Xbox wireless one for my PC and then using my DS4 instead of my Xbone controller, but ultimately decided against it because not all games support it natively outside of Steam, and I didn't want to have to fiddle with third-party software and I'm super anal about stuff like my button prompts lining up with the controller I'm using. Also my DS4's battery life isn't near as good as my Xbone controller. But welcome to the wireless PC controller club! It's so nice!
  15. Yeah, I'm on a 4k screen. *Edit - Though I guess with Steam refunds I could always buy it, try it, and refund it if it doesn't run well enough.
  16. I really want Ace Combat 7, but no PC demo makes me hesitant since that's a game that really needs to run well...
  17. It looks like if Invader Zim put on a Pope hat.
  18. I finally got sick of having to run a controller cable around the outside of the room from my gaming PC to where the TV is.
  19. Bastion was my least favorite of the Supermassive games, and I really liked Bastion, so that should tell you how good the other two are.
  20. @MetalCaveman Posted this in the StarCraft thread, and I thought it fit in nicely here as well.
  21. I'm waiting to see how good the PC port is in terms of performance, but I'm sure I'll be getting that at some point in the not-to-distant future. Pro-tip: Digital Foundry found on consoles that if you just put your console to sleep in between sessions then over time it will start running slower, but if you close all the way out of the game and reopen it then it will run fine.
  22. I'm still working my way through Assassin's Creed Odyssey. I'm enjoying it, but I'm trying to basically just play through the main story and I keep running into a situation where I'm underleveled for the next story mission, so then I have to go find random side missions to level up more. I'm considering dropping the difficulty, but it's not actually that the game is too hard per se, just that I'm not leveling fast enough to keep up with the story missions. I also started Octopath Traveler a few days ago, and I'm enjoying that as well. I've only collected two characters (counting my starter) so I'm not very far into it, but so far so good.
