Sombra is going to be hell for supports. If she hacks you as any support other than say Zen, you suddenly have very few options to defend yourself. Her ability to hack health packs is also really... strong. It lasts a full minute, stops the enemy team from picking it up and makes the pack respawn like every 2 seconds. Suddenly your flankers have access to 200 health every 2 seconds. It's not like the #'s are final though. Excited to try her out though, love the ability to deny. She'll be up on PTR next week apparently.

Got back into the game thanks to the brawl. Reminds me of Man vs Machine in TF2 except less fleshed out. Wouldn't mine seeing it expanded upon like... as an actual game mode or something. I lucked out and beat it after like 5+ tries on hard but, I've only done that like... twice. If your McCree and Ana are bad you're basically guaranteed a loss. It kinda requires you to always kill all the ranged bots and McCree/Ana Ult all the heroes with good timing and have them refill ult by the next stage. Hanzo and Soldier aren't as vital but, if they waste their ults roadhog can be a huggeeeee pain to take down. I'm up if any of you want to give hard/medium a go. I really want that Mercy skin but, it's a wonderful 3k so yarite... Haven't played since before comp came out and I ranked 2600 after my placement matches. Was feeling good until I've hit a 4 game losing streak... Playing solo q as support can be extremely infuriating at times... like.. you and the other support call out a flanking reaper and your team decides to ignore him as he kills us and then the rest of the team. My friend just bought the game though so having a lot of fun in quick play showing him the ropes. Without the pressure to play heroes I'm only comfortable with I've been getting a lot of practice with Ana lately

Thoughts on Ana or the new patch in general? Managed to play a few rounds with as her. Would love to get good with her cause she has so much damn potential but, not sure she suits my playstyle. I've been able to scare away enemies but, I've only gotten a 1 or 2 eliminations per match with her since I'm way more focused on healing... which feels like it defeats the purpose of playing a hybrid dps/support. At least with Zenyatta I can orb and forget but Ana requires active aiming just to land heals on your team. That said every move she has is great. Sleep Dart can shut down ults or take a key player out during a team fight. The grenade can shut down enemy healing (like roadhog or zenyatta's ult) or give burst healing to your team. Her Ult makes any class that deals damage scary... even boosted symmetra was kinda nerve wracking. I've also been boosted as a Rein and you it makes the enemy scatter as if you were an ulting Winston.

Super fascinating to see how the game has blown up. Went downtown to a hotspot for the first time the other day and the stories I've read online of hundreds of people playing at midnight don't seem so Farfetch'd. Excited to see where it goes or even if it phases out like a fad it was cool to see happen and take a small part in.

Junkrat for me just brings bad memories of spammomen from TF2 except in Overwatch it's exacerbated. Infinite ammo = 0 consequence spam and grenades call roll and still do the same damage as direct hits. I don't find him op, just kinda unfun to play against.

I've spend about half my time solo queuing and the other with a group of friends. Definitely not mandatory to play in a team. It's still fun to play solo. It can occasionally be frustrating playing in an uncoordinated team especially as support but, that happens even when you're playing in a team just less often. There are times I felt like after multiple bad games in solo q... Basically the game has a lot of highs and lows where solo queuing can make those highs/lows more extreme. For your last point though there are a lot of important sound ques like people ulting which may be a problem if you plan on playing while podcasting. Has anyone played with the new patch on PC?

Yeah, even on the PC side it isn't consistent in my experience. The group up message alone rarely works but, the ult notification+ typing in chat to "regroup and push on my ult" (I dunno if this is a thing on ps4) has had the most success. Otherwise you're kinda stuck just waiting in spawn hoping enough people died at the same time so you can push together. May be better to go Lucio on attack, his ult is great for pushing and he can play a bit more independently. Mercy on attack though I'd say stick on the tank, ideally there should be an damage hero with the tank that you can damage boost as well. Mei at least takes like 5+ seconds to freeze and icicle you giving your team sometime to save you... McCree on the other hand FLASHBANG RIGHT CLICK, ROLL, RIGHT CLICK = insta death for basically any character in the game.

Played one round of it, kinda boring tbh. Even less so than if it was all 1 hero. Genji has a really high skill ceiling, deflect is great. Pub genjis tend to spam their reflect which leaves an opening for anything that can stun or Mei/Winston. Ult is really strong, if you don't instantly shut him down he can easily get a 2-3k by just chaining dashes.

POTG is painful to watch sometimes. Yeah that Junkrat got a 4k but all he did was spam choke vs a Lucio play where I picked picked their mercy and then won a 2v1 vs a soldier and a mccree. Some of the most fun I've had in a team is everyone going Winston or something. "Maining" a class has no place in the game though.... since heroes are situational and you need to be able to adapt. Awful when no one wants to play tank or healer and you can only do 1. Ran across someone with 30h+ on Widowmaker and maybe 15 minutes on the next most played class.

Basically any projectile/bullet. Great for countering ults like Reaper's, McCrees, Mei's, Hanzo's... etcetc basically all of them except for the supports/tanks.

I love using them two to push people off ledges. In the case of D.Va, pushing people back and then dropping a scuttle my mech. Great mobility and he can kinda hold his own against some heroes vs Mercy who can be kinda helpless when her team isn't paying attention to you.

Played it like crazy for the first 2 days but, haven't been at my desktop since. The game has really been scratching my shooter itch as I've been taking a break from TF2 lately. Definitely agree with the health feedback. The inhale is a nice indicator but, I'll have that exact scenario wondering why I died and realizing I engaged with 50 health. Not exactly sure why that is, maybe I'm used the health being closer to the cross hair. With proper positioning and a Mercy Bastion is crazy effective and can be hard to counter without coordination except for a Genji that reflects. While Junkrat can kinda turtle and spam. Lucio has the exact move you're looking for as he can speed boost the team. I've been really enjoying playing the tanks and supports. Zenyatta is really fun to play as a support/dps hybrid and style wise is pretty cool . I wasn't sold on Mercy until oddly enough I healed a Bastion. In pubs you basically have free reign unless they have someone who can play a pick hero well like Genji or Tracer. All the tanks are pretty cool/unique. Roadhog is crazy fun to hook/shoot/melee. DVAs great for harassing. Zarya has one of the best ults and Reinhardt is kinda the king allowing your dps to do their work safely. If you dunno who to play try out the random hero brawl mode, forces you to try heroes out of your comfort zone. This game is a bit more enraging then TF2, if someone is dicking around it's not a big deal on a 24 player server but, in Overwatch it's agonizing if you have no supports or tanks. On the flip side, some of the most fun I've had is hopping into a match and seeing all my team playing as Genji or Winston. 6 gorillas jumping onto the point is chaotic and hilarious. Been following the game for quite a while and just the few days pushed me over the edge as I rarely preorder stuff. Looking forward to launch now.

I'm using BetterDS3 right now which is the only thing I have experience with. It wasn't too bad to setup but, it definitely was not plug and play. In summary you have to use another program(DS3 Tool) to install the drivers, manually sync the bluetooth mac address and from then on it should be able to automagically handle controller syncing and applying a Xbox360 profile/wrapper thing on it. Pros would be once it's setup it's straightforward to use you have a general purpose bluetooth adapter if you need it for anything else compared to the hardware solutions which are more specific. Cons it's only for DS3 so you'd need to learn a another method for DS4 it takes effort to setup initially Most games use x360 controller prompts which could take a bit to get used to sometimes the drivers won't install or the bluetooth adapter won't be picked up which is usually solved by just changing usb ports for the adapter
