I don't get why analogies upset people so much. Either they're helpful in explaining something, or they're funny because they're dumb, but either way they're not upsetting.

If you're saying you can't empathise with that, fair enough, but I think it is a fairly... understandable/comprehensible motivation. I mean, if you're gonna be a serial killer, you've gotta have a screw loose somewhere no? I actually liked my time spent with Fahrenheit until "the moment" more than Heavy Rain from start to finish.

It's because people think that you giving money to a company or person means you own itthem, rather than being a customer. And it's easier to blame something with a face than a mysterious non-entity like "hackers". Sony does have a responsibility towards their customers, free or paying, but any system can be hacked if the attackers are determined. No exceptions. -
I'm not saying the CONCEPT is worthless. It works in plenty of other fighters. But in MK, they are not enhanced enough to make it worth the cost. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuullshit. Did you even spend an hour playing the game with people who know what they're doing? Already a bunch of tournaments for it and it's been confirmed for EVO. Then again, Marvel VS Capcom 2 was on EVO and that's as balanced as an angry drunk Scotsman on a trampoline.

Why it's better to be a console pirate than a PC pirate: you don't need to wait for DRM to be cracked; you mod once and never have to crack stuff again; you never have to worry about having the minimum requirements; you get the game before the PC crowd.

Conniving sees a lot of use here in Ireland and I've used hence quite a bit in my life hence I'd say it's not archaic just yet but I'd say it's on it's way.

I've always been at least mildly obese. Used to be fat, but got it stabilized. They told me I should walk instead of using transport whenever I can and I did. They told me to eat less bread and for a time, I almost never ate it. They told me to eat less candy and that was where I drew the line.

Yes, they each have their own characteristic narrative approach, but we still consider both Japanese movies and Western movies to be "movies" despite the same difference in narrative. And a Mac is still a computer, only named differently for marketing reasons.
