Remember when people compared piracy to stealing cars? That's so last month! Now we're comparing hacking to rape.

Now when someone claims they'll hack me, I'll think they mean rape.
...and vice versa.

Makes sense i guess. George Washington DID pop that cherry violently.

INTERNET?! Y U NO STOP USING ANALOGIES?!

I don't get why analogies upset people so much. Either they're helpful in explaining something, or they're funny because they're dumb, but either way they're not upsetting.

Comedy is tragedy plus time. It takes 10 seconds to read a comment. That's why I always cry...

Analogies are like assholes.
They smell.

Stuff I will ban when I take over the world #421: the phrase "If you don't like the game/movie/book, don't comment on it."

Why it's better to be a console pirate than a PC pirate: you don't need to wait for DRM to be cracked; you mod once and never have to crack stuff again; you never have to worry about having the minimum requirements; you get the game before the PC crowd.

What's that? You're playing with awesome mods on the console versions of Oblivion and Fallout 3? Oh, wait. Nope.
-
Don't forget: while you're busy playing pirated games, idiots all over the internet continue to dump all the blame of piracy on the PC crowd! You don't even get blamed for it! I say it's a sweet deal.
-
Of course, then you have the unfortunate situation of having to play the console version of the game...

Question for those who are native English speakers: are "hence" and "conniving" still in contemporary use?

Oh, I know conniving is usually followed by an insult. The way I was using it was "conniving low-life".
-
And thanks for the poll, TN

Conniving sees a lot of use here in Ireland and I've used hence quite a bit in my life hence I'd say it's not archaic just yet but I'd say it's on it's way.
