  1. I guess I completed it. It's pretty neat to keep track of over the course of a few days.
  2. http://gematsu.com/2015/10/sega-trademarks-valkyria-blue-revolution Is the story/tone going to be more like 2 and 3 or more like 1? Mobile or multiplat? Stay tune!
  3. Kojima is free and out in the wild.

FUUUUCCCCKKKKK I was hoping he'd do some TPP DLC.

After the fucking horse armor I was glad I didn't give in and buy the game.

When that appeared, I needed a good five minutes to recover. Of all fucking things, they did horse armor.

  4. Kimbap/gimbap aka Korean sushi is ridiculously easy to make. Unlike sushi proper, it's mainly cooked ingredients so it's not a bad thing to make ahead of time for say lunch for the next day or two. It's also good to clear out leftovers since anything can be the filling. I'll put that to the test someday. Not a bad dish at all.
  5. And I think tickets goes on sale then too. Just how insane will it be on opening day or week?
  6. It's fine if a game plays it safe and be very much like it's inspiration(s). Prey for the Gods seems to be taking the next logical steps up from SotC. By the looks of things, the world seems a bit more alive (wolves) and has environmental hazards (i.e., cold). Those kind of stuff wasn't as possible back on the PS2 or at the very least not as fleshed out as it is now. Additionally, environmental puzzles might be a thing since I doubt getting to the ruins is going to straightforward.
  7. Outside of technical stuff, perhaps I am missing a component or few to how I judge my enjoyment of a game. I currently have gameplay and story. I feel like I am missing something.

They're looking for a way to articulate that.

Art style maybe? But yeah, like Ethan says, I think you're trying to quantify a qualitative measurement.

I'm not even putting numbers on anything. I'm just unsure of what to call games like MGSV. The best way I've heard is that it's an abomination which are superb in gameplay but terrible in everything else.

  8. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/indivisible-an-rpg-by-lab-zero-and-505-games#/ So far the reception seems pretty lukewarm which, while sad, is understandably. I believe that Lab Zero has presented Indivisible very well. They explained and presented themselves/Indivisible well. They even have a playable prototype with some music from their composer. The music style should jump out at you if you ever played a Secret of Mana game. The only thing I have concerns about is Lab Zero dying since they are the reformed Skullgirls studio. I'm convinced of the concept of Indivisible but I have concerns of them surviving if any real problem of development happens. 505 Games has agreed to contribute $2 million if Lab Zero can raise $1.5 million. A high but ultimately reasonable amount. I'm just unsure if it covers cost overruns and by how much. I and I think mostly everyone would hate if Lab Zero did another crowdfunding campaign if they hit financial trouble. Then of course there is the legacy of Comcept's Mighty No. 9 which I feel soured people on crowdfunding a game of such costs. I think this campaign will be a success in it's final days... maybe. I highly suggest giving the prototype a spin. It's pretty good for what it is.
  9. The anime had it own charm but yes, the manga and the OVA is awesome.
  10. I've forgotten just how fun Hellsing is. Sure it is probably at the head of cringe worthy memories of the early 2000's anime fans but whatever, we have (mostly) grown up now this shit is just funny and fun. This entire series is insane. You got butlers, vampires, zombies, Nazis, church feuds, cats or some odd mix of all of the above.

    English vs English

The thing is about Chinese ancestry, I don't think anybody kept track of who really came from who. At the very least, the upheavals of WWII, Civil War and Cultural Revolution kind of wiped that stuff out.

Asian folks should start doing the percentage thingie. Like sure, I'm 100% Chinese but China's a big place and regions do have their own flavors. Hell, every village has their own flavor. What I'm getting at here is that when these sort of discussions come up, it's pretty boring when it comes to me and most other Asian folks. I do suspect though that if something was done with me, I'd get something similar to what Dean's grandma found.
  13. As someone who does a lot of long distant driving, that is a neat thing. It's not self-driving but it's pretty close. I'm just not sure if rolling out a feature in beta like that is wise though.
  14. I haven't had Prime for a few months. I totally forgot about shipping being a thing. This'll be quite the expensive bluray...

Orders actually. Jesus. Oww. Where the fuck is combined shipping? Oww.

      Waldorf and Statler

Any reason you're not getting Prime? It isn't terribly expensive if you take into account it's for a whole year.

    3. Mal

I got Amazon to refund me the shipping so I can use that towards Prime. Main reason is that my money is tight. I could spend $99 on Prime but then I'll be living off about $50 or so for a while. Once I get some side money I'll be getting it. $100 for me is plenty to play around with.

  15. Well, the thing is with me is that I'm down for either game, I just don't have the money to go for both when they are both in a similar launch window. And yes, I would want to experience them at or near launch. Discussion about games tend to dry up rather quickly and that is part of my enjoyment of games. Not so much a problem here in these forums but elsewhere.
  16. Ideally, the Beta should've convinced people to drop money on this instead of Fallout 4 if the consumer is faced with only getting one or the other. I'm pretty sure it did the opposite for most consumers in that group. It's a fine game that should only improve with the full game but yeah, MP only kind of stings. I agree with GOH, a SP Star Wars game with this kind of visuals and sound assets would've been amazing. DICE just played it safe with something that they should've (WTF is up with the spawns at times?) been masters of. Though, I guess this game does/can win over the COD crowd which is really their target audience and the game they are trying to fight. I don't think they were after Fallout 4.
  17. A Wii U emulator? That's was fast.

Sounds like it could be awhile more till it's a viable way to actually play a game, but impressive none the less.

Dolphin got updated to Wii support fairly quick, I imagine that Nintendo carry on using similar architectures.

  18. I finally getting back around to Revengence and I didn't die horribly in the areas I've been to before I stopped. The only times I died was fighting the Metal Gear Ray clone during the running down the tower sequence. All boss fights proper though I survived without much of a sweat. I think I can enjoy this now.
  19. Oh fine. I care because I do hate the whole FOB/Mother Base nonsense. What I don't care about is my actual resources and junk being stolen in this pointless system.

    Cube World

https://twitter.com/wol_lay He's tweeting now, giving some backstory about the factions he hinted to with the songs. I got to say, he is rebuilding the hype that he lost two years ago. Will the new update be as polished as his alpha!? Only time will tell.
  21. Once things get settled down, I can see Rebels winning much more. Bomb the closer AT-AT one then lasso or just gun down the further AT-AT. The closer AT-AT will go down most of the time while the second one will be a wildcard if it goes down or not. Either way, I can already hear the calls for orbital bombardment to be nerfed since it can kill a 100% health AT-AT if you land the shot just right. Or not. Depending on the teams' pilots one side can dominate the skies, keeping the Uplink stations in their control. Which brings me to this bit: The ground troops have very little in ways to fight back against fighters. I had a few fighters charge me and even a full blaster barely made a dent. Rockets are rare pickups so their uses are mainly for the AT-ATs. For Imperials, I guess I can shoot with that single fucking shot. Ugh. I swear I'll land an ion grenade on one before the beta ends. I already marked a kamikaze attack on an enemy fighter off my list.
  22. Gave it a go. Very pretty game but it is quite uninspired. Not to say it isn't fun with all the usual MP silliness but I have better games to play if what I played represent the core of Battlefront. Hoth is as everybody says: An unbalanced mess if you play a the Rebels. You'll lose most of the time but as Thursday said, it is winnable. The round that I won as the Rebels, it was the last minute of play with both AT-ATs at at least 50%-75% health. Their shields go down which cued our shambles (?) of a team to unload on the AT-ATs. While we do that, an A-Wing managed to tow the distant one down. Somehow after the distant AT-AT fell, our combined firepower toasted the remaining one. Everybody was shocked that we somehow won. Comments like "WAT" flooded the chat. Part luck and part on the skills of the A-Wing pilot. Thursday mentions teamwork being the key to winning Hoth as Rebels but I just don't see much of anyway to coordinate. In Battlefield games, you go with a squad and squad leaders and such can mark down targets/objective. No talking or typing needed. As of this moment, it's as if the entire Rebels side is counting on the players knowing the metagame for Hoth. The full game might make the whole complaint moot though once everybody is decked out in proper gear and know the general flow of what you should do. Still though, no way to really communicate effectively. I guess I can spawn in on my partner and cover his back... But yeah, silliness! Being Vader is pretty damn badass. Anybody who sees you early one just runs or put up a futile fight up till the team can muster a group to take me down. The only downer is that Vader doesn't do force lightning. It should be fun if I can try Luke but I'll try to avoid being stomped... Downing a jedi/sith is equally as fun. They go down quite fast if faced with a turret. Grenading them is fun too. I managed to do that to a timid Vader before I took a pot shot which ended with a flying lightsaber to my face. Other silliness... jetpacking and sticking an AT-ST. I kind of want to try it on the AT-AT...
  23. NSFW but my god... Who is this Pepsi Man? Is he a hero or a villain!? Edit: Oh, I didn't realize that Pepsi Man was a product of the late 1990's-early 2000's.
